Physical Description of Persona:
Slightly unruly black hair, warm brown eyes, and a square jawline are the overall defining features of A'ris' otherwise plain features. He has a nice smile that brings a handsome light to his face when he uses it. Around average height at 5'10", A'ris has a broad set of shoulders that has thickened as he's aged and is due in part to the many hours he's spent toiling on his family's farm.

Emotional Description of Persona:
A'ris has a quiet and subdued personality. Not by choice, but by necessity. Growing up on an impossibly small farm had many setbacks. There was a general lack of education, lack of experiences, and lack of people to talk to, leading A'ris to keep his thoughts and feelings internalized. A'ris is smart in many practical ways, but lacks general skills in reading and writing, which weren't needed on the farm.

History of Persona:
A'ris, born Aedris, has a large, large family. Why? All hands are needed to work the tiny family farm that they operate on the fringes of Amber Hills territory. Growing up so far away from the main Hold, or any of the minor holdings, had its pros and cons. On one hand, A'ris is incredibly close with his family, and the peace and beauty found in the southern hills of Amber Hills cannot be underestimated. On the other hand, without the regular attention of a harper, A'ris is rather lacking when it comes to any type of formal education. Some of his sisters fare a little better because their mother can read and write, but his father never saw a use for it in his sons, who were needed for manual labor. A'ris is great at mathematics, however, and can compute figures in his head in a flash.

Resigned to his fate (living and dying on the farm), A'ris was more than shocked when a Searchrider from Dragonsfall Weyr stopped at their patch of dirt one day. The opportunity to go to the Weyr created a thirst in A'ris that he didn't realize he had - a thirst to leave, go see places, to get as far away from their farm as possible. It didn't matter what the Searchrider asked, A'ris was willing to do anything for the chance to go - even if it meant running away from his family and all he had ever known.

He was fortunate to find his lifemate on the sands of Dragonsfall Weyr in the 3rd month, 22nd day of Turn 12.
