Physical Description of Persona:
Dikero stands head and shoulders over most everyone he meets. His height made him self concious--and very clumsy-- as a child, but now that he has passed thirty turns, he's grown comfortable with himself.

His hair is dark brown and very well cared for, and a perfect foil for his light blue eyes. His features aren't beautiful by any stretch of the imagination, but he has a charm all his own.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Dikero is cheerful and generally in a fairly good mood. This could be because his life is surprisingly empty of tragedy or loss. He's also something of a flirt, which wasn't very welcome in the Crafthall, but does him well in the Weyr. In fact, some might say it does him a little too well.

History of Persona:
Dikero grew up in the Healer Hall, and from his earliest memories he knew that healing was what he was born to do. His father encouraged him every step of the way, and his mother--a cook at Healer Hall--doted on him. Although he learned no faster than those around him, he proved to have an aptitude for working with patients, especially children.

Although he was encouraged by many of the Masters to choose a specialty, Dikero enjoys working with a bit of everything.

His favorite work was going to outlying minor holdings and teaching them proper care to prevent illness. However, six turns of rough living left him tired, and when he was offered a position at Dream's End Weyr, he was more than happy to settle down for a few turns.

Fate struck only a few months into his tenure at Dream's End, when his sixteen year old sister, only recently married, lost her husband and nearly lost her life in a tragic accident at Emerald Fall's Hold.

Dikero wasted no time requesting a transfer, but almost before he could unpack his bags things started going wrong. One of the other healers took an instant dislike to him, and Dikero found himself in arguments that turned into fights.

His fights weren't just with his fellow Healer. Enrizial caught Dikero allowing a young girl to sort herbs and roll bandages in order to make herself useful, and took exception to what he viewed as lessons in crafting. Furious, Dikero tried to take his sister and leave the Hold, but his sister decided to stay at Emerald Falls.

Named by the children of the cothold where she hatched for her tendency to hop, Hops has little in common with the sedative that also shares her name. Hyperactive and flitty, Dikero has given up in training her to be at all useful, instead using her as a distraction and reward for the children he treats.
