Physical Description of Persona:
A typical guard, Ollan is large and broad-shouldered. He keeps his dark hair shorn short, more out of lack of concern for how it looks, rather than some fashion statement. His overly muscled arms and legs, strong jaw, and calloused hands would be just as at home on a herder, fisherman, or miner.
Emotional Description of Persona:
Ollan fits the stereotype of a big, dumb guard to a 't'. He can follow orders and hold his own in a fight, but is incapable of thinking for himself. He knows that he will never be something more than he is, and is content with that. He isn't easily angered or easily moved at all, a true stoic.
History of Persona:
Ollan, the son of a drudge and a minor holder, was apprenticed to the guard at the age of twelve, when it became apparent that he was going to be large with no talents in more intellectual areas.
It was obvious that Ollan's gullibility could be a liability. During his apprenticeship, a rival student convinced him to "train" with another, less-advanced student. Goaded on, Ollan seriously injured the other student, a black mark on his record that has kept him from advancing. He doesn't resent it, however, and continues on, content in his life.
