Physical Description of Persona:
Kellwyn is fairly tall for a woman, and solidly built. Her legs and arms are well muscled and her fingers are deft and calloused. Her hair is a pale gold that is threaded with silver, and her skin has been bronzed by the sun. A web of fine lines trace the milestones in her life, and her blue-grey eyes are intelligent and empathic. Her nose is aqueline and she smiles easily. She is usually dressed in plain, practical garb that she can work with her animals in; plain skirt and blouse, and a pair of battered work boots. Her hair is usually in a braid or pinned out of the way.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Kellwyn is the type of person that people think of in a crisis; she is level headed, calm, and practical. Art has given her the ability watch instead of simply see, motherhood has given her patience, and loss has given her empathy. She was once a very passionate woman, but maturity has tempered that into a steady good-naturedness. She's a live and let live, go about her own way sort of person.

History of Persona:
Kellwyn was the first daughter and second child of a Journeyman Weaver and his wife. Her father wasn't a healthy man, but he insisted on living in his own cot, and as a result his wife and two eldest children tended his ovines when he was ill. He also taught his family how to spin and weave, and Kellwyn, in particular, displayed an aptitude for the Craft. The plage had already closed the Crafthalls to women by the time Kellwyn was old enough to apprentice, so she was therefore apprenticed unofficially by her father.

Kellwyn was married at seventeen to a neighbouring cotholder's son. She moved into Garnet Valley Hold for a while until her husband's father died and they were able to take over the cot. It was not a happy marriage at first. Kellwyn and Johnilar argued bitterly until they fell in love, and as they aged, passion changed to love and mutual respect. They had four children together until Johnilar passed away of a heart condition. Kellwyn's eldest child, her son Ilyn, died four months later in a ploughing accident when the runners spooked as dragons appeared in the sky overhead. Her second son, Kenil, married a woman from Garnet Valley Hold and moved in with her family. He, however, was as sickly as her father was, and he caught pneumonia and died one turn and one child into his marriage. Kellwyn apprenticed her two remaining sons, Nilek and Konilar, at the Smith Hall and Miner Hall, respectivly.

Kellwyn now lives in a cot about half a candlemark's ride from Garnet Valley Hold, where she tends her ovines and weaves. It might be concidered a little odd for a woman to live by herself so far from the Hold and in a cot so large, but her sons aren't the only ones who keep an eye on her.
