Physical Description of Persona:
P'veas has developed a wiry, slender build after eight turns of riding. His long dark hair is usually worn tied back, or tightly braided to enable him to wear his riding helmet. Brown eyes gaze out of a lightly tanned face, that still bares the scars of teenage spots.

Emotional Description of Persona:
P'veas is somewhat guarded and rarely talks openly, unless he knows and trusts a person - there being a very select list of some people in his head.

Having grown up doubting what he was in a conservative holding, it was a relief to come to the more open environment of the weyr, but the childhood habits have been hard to shake off.

He's very loyal, and ready to try anything, having finally come to terms with his sexuality.

History of Persona:
Patraveas was born to Patran and Veasea at a small holdng close to Garnet Valley. He was the youngest of four children, his mother having conceved more times, but either miscarried, or the children died very young. His father was a Tailor, and expected his only son to follow him in the craft, which Patraveas took to with delight.

However the other boys in the holding sensed something that perhaps he himself did not. While they may dream of girls and sex, Patraveas didn't understand why his dreams had men in them. It frightened him a little, or the feelings that were aroused by these dreams did. He spoke to his mother about it, sure that she would tell him that it was a normal part of growing up.

Unbeknown to him, one of the other boys heard part of the conversation as he walked past their kitchen. Making assumptions based on half heard words, Ertan told the others, making plans to beat the 'boy-lover' and make him admit what he was.

Before things could get that far, a searchrider came to the hold with news of a clutch on the sand. His blue was attracted to Patraveas, sensing something in the lad, who offered to go to the Weyr and take his chance on the sands.

Once at the weyr, seeing many male-male couples there, Patraveas began to accept himself, and experiment. He didn't restrict himself to just men, in an effort to find out who he was. Impression settled things for him, Mavikath proving herself to be all the woman he needed in his life.
