Toman is tall, broad, and relatively lean. He has salt and pepper hair and dark brown eyes. He tends to show a bright and warm smile, and wears a graying beard. He has tanned skin and tends to dress sharply regardless of the heat. He loves to wear flat caps.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Toman is amiable and outgoing. He never forgets a name or a face. He is welcoming and quick to seek to form relationships, but this is much more about doing his duty to keep his Hold prosperous than it is his own personal enjoyment. He strives to be fair, and he is fiercely protective of his island and his people.

History of Persona:
Toman is the younger of two twins, the eldest children of their parents, the previous holders. His twin, Tomesh, grew up afflicted with anxiety over inheriting, when all he wanted to be was a ship's captain. When they came of age, Toman offered to take the responsibility for him, and he gratefully accepted. From then on, their father, Tomueras, trained Toman as his heir. Tomesh joined a sailing crew, and Tomueras supported Tomesh in saving to acquire his own vessel.

Tomesh eventually married the daughter of the captain he had served since becoming a sailor, while Toman married a beautiful woman named Alenendre. While he was desperately in love with her, she married him for his position only. After the birth of their son, Tomendre, Toman discovered she was carrying on an affair, and he left her.

Skeptical that Tomendre was truly Toman's offspring, Tomueras arranged for him to marry the eldest daughter of one of their closest trading partners, and she moved to the island. They have since had four more children together. Toman loves Tomendre dearly, and he has done his best to raise all of his children to see him as their true brother, but there is some amount of speculation as to who will be his heir.

Tomueras passed away, and Toman inherited the hold, at the age of 56.
