Physical Description of Persona:
Of average height and weight Hanni has long blonde hair, usually worn in a braid which reaches halfway down her back. She has blue eyes, and an easy smile, which is the one thing people tend to notice.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Complex! Hanni tries to present the outward appearance of being the ideal Pernese girl. But underneath the surface is an emotional whirlpool. Having seen her mother die when she was young scarred her deeply, she was almost incoherent with grief for days, and only her Aunt Serilla brought her round. Like her younger brother H'risal, she felt always in the shadow of their brothers, who teased and bullied her as a young girl, building up a core of steel inside the seemingly soft exterior.

History of Persona:
Hanni was the only girl born to Farastal and his wife, who died along with her baby in childbirth when Hanni was four. Farastal's sister Serilla, a widow, moved in to take care of his young family. Her father seemed to pay more attention to the three eldest, Serilla helped the young Hanni and Herisal through the trauma, but after seeing Farastal concentrate on his three eldest she gradually began to do the same. Hanni has managed to avoid being married off by avoiding the attention of her elders until now.

Since running away to the Weyr to avoid what she considered to be an unsuitable marriage, Hanni has settled very comfortably into the lifestyle and has become rather popular with several of the riders, despite the disapproval of her brother.

Recently, Hanni took the decision to try her luck on the sands as a candidate. She was lucky enough to impress Samdrath, the first time she stood on the stands.
