Barrier Lake Weyr

This area was formerly shielded by River Bluff Weyr which was destroyed by the Earthquake following a volcanic eruption in the ocean. The Hatching Caverns caved in and enough of the Weyr was damaged that a team of master Masons reported it unsafe for habitation. As a result, River Bluff's residents were scattered to other Weyrs and its overflight territory divided up. Late in Turn 9 a new location was found and began construction at Barrier Lake.
