History

The Beastcraft Hall was founded twenty turns after the end of the Ninth Pass. It was decided that the Hall would be located near Opal Cove Hold.

Animals of Pern

Aquatic

  • Packtail -- similar to Terran monkfish
  • Fingertail -- a small carp-like fish
  • Spiderclaw -- a crab-like creature
  • Red Fin -- a large game fish
  • Bloodfish -- a parasite
  • Snail -- a hard-shelled creature
