Mentioned: N'vanik
}:Loseth won.:{ Chioneth casually reported from where she was stroking
through the deeper water far out from the coastline.
Saibra was laid out on one of her beach towels in her favorite skimpy
two piece, one arm thrown over her face to shield her eyes from the
sun. **Good for him.** She liked N'vanik and felt it was easier when
the same Weyrleader retained.
}:Mnoranth comes.:{ Chioneth's voice reflected surprise.
Mnoranth plunged into the sea a ways off in the water to sulk at his
loss and R'enh swam strongly to shore. He wasn't quite sure why he'd
jumped on his lifemate instead of seeking consolation with a moth but
now he was here and the need was still strong.
"Saibra, I..." he ground out. His eyes burned and his need burned. "I need..."
Saibra openly admired R'enh as he strode up the beach to where she was
laying. Sitting up she smiled as he drew near. Sexual tension rolled
off the bronzerider in waves and she opened her arms to him in an
invitation, "Come here. I will take care of that for you."
He didn't answer but came to her then. Raw with need and passion he
did what any bronzerider would do when losing a gold flight.
*~*
Her bones felt as if they had melted away in the heat of the passion that
she and R'enh had shared. Shards, but the bronzerider was probably the
best person she had ever shared a bed with. The bright sun caused the
sweat on their skin to sparkle in a glowing sheen.
"Wow." Saibra panted softly.
R'enh was barely conscious but he echoed her sentiment. He lifted his
head and stared around. "How did I even get here?"
"Beats me. You showed up straight from the flight on Mnoranth." Saibra
looked over at him with a smile, "I'm not complaining though. It was
very nice seeing you arrive, well, and what followed was very nice
too of course."
"I didn't hurt you did I," he asked suddenly concerned.
The concern on the man's face was endearing, and Saibra shook her head
as she reached out and squeezed his hand, "No, you didn't. You are
welcome to come by whenever you lose a flight." She flashed a grin,
"Maybe Mnoranth will be more lucky with Chioneth?"
Relief suffused him and he smiled and relaxed. "Oh good. I wasn't in
control and thought maybe..." he didn't want to tell her what he'd
thought he might have done. It had been known to happen.
Saibra pushed herself up on her elbow as she cocked an eyebrow at
R'enh, "Thought maybe, what?" She didn't understand R'enh's apparent
worry, he had never seemed remotely apprehensive about their past
encounters.
"I was only afraid it might have been against your will." He smiled
and ran a hand down her thigh.
"You? Against my will?" Saibra shook her head, squinting against the
sunlight, "There's never a worry there, bronzerider. You are welcome
any time." She leaned in and kissed him softly.
He kissed her back and entangled his fingers in her hair. She tasted
of the sun and the sea and the essence that was Saibra. "I wouldn't
mind winning your flight at all Saibra," he said against her lips
before rolling on top of her all over again. The dragonlust wasn't
entirely washed out of his system and a willing woman was very
inspiring. It wasn't long before he was ready to show her how much he
appreciated her all over again.
