Description: D'hol meets both of the River Bluff Weyrleaders at their Hatching.
Location: River Bluff Weyr

Once the Hatching was over, Rhosyn walked with K'sedel into the Feast.
Knowing N'vanik was going to be there, for once she stubbornly clung
to K'sedel. Whether she wanted to admit it or not and even though she was
still mad at him for what he had done, she needed his stability. And so the
two of them took their usual places to receive guests and she found herself
face-to-face with D'hol-or rather face-to-abdomen. **Tall bronzeriders** She
nudged K'sedel, sending the thought through their dragons that this was the
man from the Dolphin Cove Hatching.
D'hol's face betrayed absolutely nothing. He gave a polite nod to K?sedel,
recognizing from the facial features the relationship of the man to his
wingsecond. His eyes flicked to Rhosyn, but all he did was give a curt, yet
civil nod to the Weyrwoman.
"Wingleader," K'sedel said politely. "Welcome to River Bluff."
**Oh that smug bronzerider trying to ruin my moment...** As those thoughts
ran through her head, though, she found herself not playing his game. This
was her Hatching and he wouldn't ruin it. And now he was in her Weyr where
she could punish his misbehavior. "We hope you enjoy the feast. There's
plenty here for you. And there will be dancing." **Eat enough food to
choke on it**
"Thank you, Weyrleader." He turned to Rhosyn and spoke coolly, but
did not lack the polite civility that was required. "I'm sure there will."
His lips drew up in a humorless smile. "Thank you."
He hadn't used her title once. She noticed. Still Rhosyn was all
smiles as she dreamed about kicking in his teeth. "I'd love to take
a turn on the floor with you if you have a free moment sometime."
**I'd rather have a blind, snaggle-toothed tunnelsnake suck my...**
}:Don't! :{
**... big toe. Happy?** D'hol kept a straight face as Yumath mentally
chided him. Instead he took in Rhosyn's smile; it looked a little too
wide, and far too forced. Ah, the civilities of Weyr politics. "I'm
sure." He murmured, "Perhaps. If there is time."
"But for now," began K'sedel, wanting to avoid a scene. "I think I
hear the Harpers signaling that the dancing is to begin."
And of course that meant the Weyrleaders would take the first steps on
the floor. Rhosyn easily stepped up and put her hand into K'sedel's.
"Let's go on then. Enjoy yourself Wingleader."
D'hol gave a polite nod and stepped away from the pair, not giving
Rhosyn a second glance. He had been civil, just as requested. N'vanik
would have no room to complain, nor would Cyradis. And the yapping pup
of a Weyrwoman wouldn't be able to find fault.
"You see, he has the sweetness of my big toe," she murmured to her
Weyrleader as they took the floor. Never mind that she was a bit slower
than usual.
