Her dress was well in the works and she was pleased with it. She had
been discreetly combing the gathers for matching accessories and the
Weyrwoman was excited about seeing everyone's reaction. It was going
to be out of character for her certainly. Y'gel had done his part and she
would be pleased to be seen with him. Still, it was driving her nuts to
keep the surprise from N'vanik.

That was good. It gave the Weyr something to look forward to and it
would help N'vanik's continued leadership. He had performed even under
such stress. She continued her daily exercises, stretching her legs out.

overshadow Angdelouth:{ She snorted, thinking of course that was true and
her rider was so smart.
}:You are both beautiful. I will miss you, but I suppose my mate will not.:{
}:Nikornath will stay here with me. I will not be alone:{ she answered, as if
her bronze would do anything less.
}:If Nikornath is not taking your rider, who is?:{ Loseth asked.
}:Augashyth has been given the honor:{ she replied, turning her head to where
that bronze rested.
}:Mine wants to know why your Weyrleader is not coming,:{ Loseth relayed.
}:If my rider is gone, he will stay so if something happens to the Weyr, someone
will be here. Also something about a hatchling:{ She didn't understand
the complexities about K'sedel's granddaughter and her wishes.
}:Mine says that's one less person to talk to. More time for dancing.:{ While
Loseth enjoyed talking to visiting dragons, his rider didn't always
enjoy talking
to their riders.
}:Your Weyr is doing better then?:{ Orlaith asked curiously.
}:Yes. After my new hatchlings are old enough to join the wings, we'll
be as strong as the other Weyrs.:{ He was very proud that he and his
rider had led the Weyr so well.
}:Well done Loseth:{ Orlaith's own hatchlings were now in weyrling training,
which she sometimes observed. They were growing quickly, it seemed. }:I shall
