Most posts are rated PG, but those indicated by the writers as being PG-17 (and which MUST obey the PG-17 guidelines) should be rated PG-17. Members will still be able to view them, but a warning icon will be displayed next to the post title.

'''What is an Adult post?'''
We've never allowed any pornographic material onto the website in the past, and we do not intend to now. That being said, below are our rules for our PG-17 rating.
+
*Adult posts have '''explicit''' sex scenes or abuse - typically they're connected to a regular PG/PG-17 post that you have written and placed on the regular list. Sometimes sections of a flight post may need to come out onto the Adult list.

ALL posts with PG-17 content must be clearly marked in the Headings section, and preferably in the Subject line. Don't wait until time to send the post to put the warnings in. Do them as soon as the post starts to take a PG-17 turn.
+
'''What do I do with it?'''
 +
*These posts should be sent the Adult Mailing List at adults_triad@googlegroups
 +
*You must be 18 to join the Adult list

If you still read a PG-17 post that is labeled and have a problem with it, you can't say that you weren't warned.
+
'''Note: Posts sent to the Adult List do not count toward Member Reward Marks. They will not be timelined.'''

Some posts need to be marked PG-17 that have no mention of sex or nudity. They are the ones that detail abuse (whether told as a story or actually happening in the post), violence, or any subject matter you wouldn't read over with your innocent baby sister (if yours isn't, pretend she is).

What is allowable? Nudity, physical descriptions, and anything short of actual intercourse taking place in a post. If you're not sure, send the post to the Council and we'll proof it for you and tell you if it goes over the PG-17 line.

Story Ratings

If you are unsure of what the rating on your post should be, please email your Mentor or ask a veteran club member for advice.

PG

These are your typical, everyday posts that anyone of any age can read. These go to the regular triadweyrs@goolgroups mailing list.

PG-17

These posts contain more explicit content in nature, but still go to the main triadweyrs@goolegroups mailing list.

What makes it PG-17

  • Light sexual encounters, above-the-waist nudity, but nothing explicit. Think about PG-13 love scenes. You see a little, but then it fades to black before things get too heavy.
  • Abuse, whether verbal or physical of any kind. This includes kidnapping, rape, domestic violence.
  • Allusions to suicide or suicidal thoughts

What should NOT be in PG-17

  • Nothing below the waist should be explicitly described. Innuendos are fine.
  • No erotica or pornographic styles of writing

Labels

  • If you feel like your post meets the PG-17 guidelines, post it to the triadweyrs@googlegroups list with (PG-17) in your title. Please put a PG-17 warning in the "Notes" section of your header, telling readers why your post is PG-17, so they can see if they can read it or not.

Note: If you read something clearly labeled as PG-17, you read at your own peril.

Adult

What is an Adult post?

  • Adult posts have explicit sex scenes or abuse - typically they're connected to a regular PG/PG-17 post that you have written and placed on the regular list. Sometimes sections of a flight post may need to come out onto the Adult list.

What do I do with it?

  • These posts should be sent the Adult Mailing List at adults_triad@googlegroups
  • You must be 18 to join the Adult list

Note: Posts sent to the Adult List do not count toward Member Reward Marks. They will not be timelined.
