Sometimes Saibra was sad that golds only rose once a Turn, because she
sure did enjoy Chioneth's mating flights, and this one was no
different. G'nir had been an excellent partner and as they came down
from their euphoric high, she collapsed beside him, her hair a
glorious black curtain around her shoulders.

"Congratulations Weyrleader." She said around a smile, panting softly.

"Thank you, Weyrwoman," G'nir couldn't help the smugness in his voice.
He rolled to his side, admiring the view Saibra's naked body offered.

"Your Nirreth is very crafty." Saibra pointed out, although she was
glad. Going into the flight Saibra had wanted G'nir to win for the
sake of continuity at Dragonsfall.

"He is that and he's gotten plenty of practice in catching gold's
during the past Turn and a half," G'nir answered.

Saibra raised up on her elbows, "That he has." It proved that Nirreth
was the best bronze at Dragonsfall, despite Chioneth's interest in
J'darin's bronze Hasaarth.

"We aren't going to give up this Weyr easily," G'nir said. His eyes
roamed over her body. Yes, she was definitely worth looking at.

"I am glad, the Weyr needs you." Saibra said as she slid closer to the
Weyrleader, letting their bodies brush, "Even if you do think I am
indecent." She teased with a grin.

G'nir snorted. "You do offer a pleasing view for the eyes, indecent or
decent," he admitted, letting his hands roam her body.

Saibra flashed a sultry grin as she hooked a leg over G'nir's waist,
straddling his waist as she looked down at him, "I could be very
indecent when it is just the two of us." She offered, her hair falling
down around her face as she leaned down and kissed a steamy trail up
the Weyrleader's neck.

"I won't object to that," G'nir replied before he was lost to the
kiss. It was public indecency he might have issues with.

It took a moment of searching before Saibra was able to find her
breeches, her sweater had already been pulled on. Tugging the pants
up, she laced them with nimble fingers as she glanced over at G'nir,
"Do you have any ideas on who will take over Cyan Wing?" She knew that
the brownrider Wingsecond had stepped up for the moment, but that
could only be temporary as it took a bronzerider to lead a Wing.

"Not yet, I'm working on it. I've asked other Weyrs if there's
available bronzeriders willing to transfer, but so far...nothing,"
G'nir replied and shook his head. "I've also evaluating our own
bronzeriders to see if any of them have the potential. The big issue
is that most of them are too young, Impressed during the Pass."

"Well I am sure you will find someone, Weyrleader. You strike me as
the resourceful type." She grinned.

"Yes, I am," G'nir didn't even bother to hide his arrogance.

His response just widened her grin as she flicked her hair over her
shoulder. "Thanks for the flight, Weyrleader," she said as she stamped
on her boots and headed for the door. "We will have to do this again
some time.... Without dragons." Saibra said, shooting him a wink.

"We also need to make a public appearance together," G'nir reminded
her. "So, a dinner in the Dining Cavern later today?" he suggested.

"That sounds like a plan, Weyrleader. I will see you then."
