Oria

As she came back to herself after the flight, Oria still thought that
perhaps some of it had been a dream. A wonderful dream yes, but she hadn't
really thought that Tonuth would be able to catch Degrorth this time.

But for once, a dream was reality. L'cor lay beside her as Degrorth curled
up with Tonuth, basking in the glow of an especially pleasant flight.

L'cor came back to himself and his eyes flew open. "Oria," he dropped
a kiss on the top of her head. "That was incredible. Is a flight
always like that?" Since it was their first win he had no experience
to draw on.

She snuggled close to him, "Almost always," she said. There was no point in
telling him about the times Degrorth had been caught by blueriders who
preferred men in their beds and were only doing what their dragons needed.

He smiled and hugged her to him. "Well I hope Tonuth catches her alot then."

"It gets better," she said, making herself very comfortable against him.
"And I could show you how."

"I'm open to suggestions," he said with a twinkle and kissed the top
of her head.

Shifting against him, and well aware of the reaction that in itself would
have, without the leftover effect of the flight in the mix, she kissed him.
"Starts like this," she murmured after a moment or two.

"Minx," he chucked. Though he dearly loved the way she knew how to
move and especially how freely she gave herself to him.

"Tease," she said, even as her hands began caresses she knew would excite
her lover in more ways than one.

"Oria," his voice grew husky and his own hands moved to tenderly
caress various parts of her body paying particular attention to
certain areas before turning over to cover her lips with his own.

That kiss led, as she had intended, to something wonderful. Some uncertain
time later as she came back to herself again, she smiled up at the man next
to her. "I told you so," she said softly.

"You did," he grinned. "And you were right," he added after a moment.
He had something else on his mind and had been wanting to talk to her
about it for some time. "Oria," he said softly holding her close. "I
love you."

"I love you too," and she meant it. There was something far, far more than
just physical attraction happening here. And it felt good to acknowledge
that.

He let out the breath he hadn't realized he been holding and squeezed
her even harder. Then after a moment he loosened his hold. "Would you
like, I mean... want to... move into my weyr?"

"Yes." There was no hesitation in that simple answer, I'm sure the ledge
will be big enough for both the dragons and us."

"Mmhmm," he smiled and smoothed her hair. He was already thinking
about what it would be like to sleep beside her every night. "There is
lots of room for both of us there. Any bigger and I'd need to let
rooms like my mother's inn."

"You, me, Tonuth and Degrorth, sounds just perfect."

He smiled perfectly content himself. "Alright," the steward part of
him started the organization of what needed to be done. "We can start
moving your things. I'll let the headwoman know about the change," he
mused. "And you should meet my mother. You'll love her."

"I'm sure I will, but," she said with a grin. "How about we just enjoy the
rest of our time in here, nobody's going to come along for a good while,
maybe even until morning?"

That refocused his attention with almost an audible snap. "Oh yes
sweeheart," he said. "That is a very good idea..." His hand rose to
cup her face as he started his next assault with a soft kiss.
