Jylanya lay cradled against Naton's side after what had been one of
the most amazing moments in her life. She couldn't really describe
what had happened inside her after that first pain but it had been
incredible. **Let's do _that_ again.** was all she could think.
Her breathing was returning to normal and she wondered if he had
actually noticed her sharp intake of breath when he'd... she blushed.
She'd never told him she was untouched and who would think that of a
widow from a 17 turn marriage. Her husband had been that in name only,
his advanced years and invalid state had made her his caretaker not
his lover. And while they'd been headed in that direction, K'hetah had
never... she firmly set aside any thoughts of the former Dolphin Cove
Wingleader.
She stroked the hairs on Naton's chest with two fingers. She had
wanted him, loved him, encouraged him and finally given him the prize
she could only give once. While she was tender down there, she was
fulfilled in a way she couldn't describe.
"That was wonderful," she said with feeling.
"Hmmm..." Naton agreed, obviously content as she shifted a bit so he
could look her in the eyes. "It certainly was." He brushed a strand of
hair from her face lovingly, studying her closely. "It _was_ good for
you, wasn't it? I didn't hurt you?"
Her first thought was to deny it and she opened her mouth to do just
that but then changed her mind. "Only a little at first." She couldn't
quite look at him but made a very contented purring sound in her
throat. "Yes Naton, it was _very_ good."
"I'm glad," Naton smiled, continuing to stroke her forehead where he
had just brushed away that strand of hair. "You don't have much to
compare, though, do you?" he then asked softly. There wasn't anything
in his voice that could be read as accusation or even puzzlement. He
just wanted to know.
Her eyes flew to his face, "How did you..." she shook her head. "I
guess you would know wouldn't you." If it had been hard for her it
must have also been something he could... well. "No," she said and
tried to relax against him. "Do you mind very much?"
"How could I mind?" Naton asked softly, pressing a kiss to her
forehead. "You just gave me a very precious gift, Jylanya, and I can't
begin to describe how happy that makes me. You could have told me,
though. I should have been more careful."
"I was going to," she started. "But its a rather difficult explanation
and the time never seemed right to bring it up." She cuddled a little
closer. "Then you kind of swept me off my feet and it didn't matter to
me anymore. I wanted it so very much with you."
"I'm glad you did," Naton grinned. "Because you rock my world
Jylanya," he buried his nose in her hair for a moment, taking in the
scent. He could stay in that bed forever. That brought on another
thought. "How does Vee feel about me being around so much?"
She hugged him hard. No one had ever said anything like that to her
before. She thought a moment before replying to his question. "She's a
little jealous. But I think she'll be fine as long as she still feels
my love doesn't change. She's been through so much."
"Hmm, I hope she comes around, sees I'm not trying to steal you away
from her," Naton smiled. "Though maybe I am, just a bit," he nuzzled
her neck and kissed her again with a wicked grin on his face.
"My heart is big enough for you both," she said before he started
robbing her of all thought again.
