"Hey man, you're blocking my view," D'lorn complained as he moved to try and see around R'sedel's butt.
"But I thought you _were_ looking at me," R'sedel grinned, turning to
his fellow greenrider.
"R'sedel, what on Pern gave you that idea when I can look at _that_?"
D'lorn nodded noticeably in the direction of a bluerider standing by the
klah pot, talking. The man had good genes.
"Well, he's not bad, but he's certainly not _me_." Still, R'sedel
slipped into the seat next to D'lorn to join in the show. "He's a new
transfer I take it?" The greenrider would have remembered him
otherwise.
"Mmmhm. Don't know what wing he's going into." D'lorn made a show
of eating a bit but he was still looking. "Well hatched, that's for
sure."
"Well, dressed, too. Those pants leave _little_ to the imagination."
He would have to talk to his father and find out just what wing he
planned to put that rider into. If he could sway his opinion at all, he
would not be above doing so for a piece of that.
"You know it's been too long." Thinking over that, D'lorn frowned.
"Been around the kids too much and forgot about being a man."
"Oh, well, _I_ could help you with that," R'sedel assured him with a
rather wicked grin. He usually preferred blues, but D'lorn wasn't bad
on the eyes either.
Breathing a sigh, he put a hand on his cheek and continued to look
at the other man. "It'll be awhile till Villith takes her turn again
too." Thinking it over, he looked over at the other greenrider. "As long as
it doesn't turn out like it did last time." A brow raised.
"What are you talking about?" R'sedel asked with a face full of shock
and offense.
"I recall you talking about some bluerider half the time." D'lorn hadn't
minded the first few times. "Maybe he dumped you or something."
"You must be thinking of someone else." Though he had a reputation for
a talkative flirt, when he was with a partner, he found very little
conversation was necessary. At least, not the clean kind. "As I
recall, my mouth was a little too occupied for pining away for men who
were not there."
He didn't have many choices and R'sedel was there. Deciding to give the
other greenrider the benefit of the doubt, D'lorn bit his lip.
"Allright, after dinner. Your weyr or mine?"
R'sedel threw his head back and laughed. D'lorn looked so serious!
Well, he would have a good time smoothing out that furrowed brow.
"Lighten up, man. Just how long _has_ it been?"
"A month," he whispered quietly. For D'lorn, that was a long time.
"Oh, for Faranth's sake." The man just needed to live a little.
R'sedel deliberately turned D'lorn's face towards his and planted a very
thorough kiss on his lips.
