Well Meledei seemed and looked a lot better than he feared. G'wen
nodded to himself as he walked down into the bowl. Thank the shell
for that, as he really had been worried for his friend. As he walked,
he flapped his white shirt, noticing that it was a lot stickier out
now than when he and T'bel had first come here.

When he reached the bowl, he stopped, a bit confused. This Weyr was
so much bigger than Dragonsfall and with everyone bustling about, he
felt a bit turned around and confused. Now where was the beach again?
And Neath, Fanth and T'bel? Hadn't T'bel said he'd be in the Dinning
Hall? Well, that as one place he_did_know here and he turned and
walked into it. But when his eyes adjusted, there was no sign of
T'bel. What now? the boy began to panic inside. This place was too
big, too different. He bit his lower lip, wondering if he should
brave the beach again, with scantily clad sunbathers.

Why did he have to be so shy? He mentally kicked himself and stood,
undecided as to what to do, feeling more than a bit foolish.

C'jex had only just finished his meal when his eyes had fallen upon the lad
standing, looking rather lost and confused, in the entryway to the
dining hall. He simply, sat, watching the indecision flicker across
the lads sweet features. He hadn't seen him before, yet he wore rider
knots. As the young man turned, C'jex pushed back his own chair and
made his way towards the exit. Dressed in a loose-fitting,
light-weight shirt that was cut at the shoulder to allow for the most
air in the warm, humid climate.

He sauntered up to the boy's side, and eyed the knots. **Ah, not from
here,** he thought as he took in the rank, color and Weyr.

"Need a hand?" He inquired as he approached. "You seem a bit lost."
C'jex couldn't help but admire the boy's features and form. Though
slight in size, he was well built and had the most wonderful eyes and
lips. Swallowing, he tried to push those thoughts aside for the
moment. Sure, he was attracted to him, C'jex was attracted to _most_
people, but there was something more about this boy that intrigued
him.

"I..uh...lost a friend. My da's weyrmate, to be honest." G'wen
looked up at C'jex hopefully. "I don't think he's here, maybe the
beach but..."

"Right," C'jex replied. "I can show you the way, if you'd like. Name's
C'jex. You're from Dragonsfall right?" He asked, having noted the
boy's shoulder knots.

"I am," he smiled at C'jex. "I'm G'wen and..." He flushed as
he_had_wanted to see the ocean before he left, and he also feared
T'bel wouldn't be ready to leave. "Is there a quieter place to see
the ocean? I've never gotten to see it before and well..." How did
he explain he was too much of a prude to face all those mostly naked
women out on the beach?

C'jex's lips turned up in a half grin. "Oh, I know many great places,
some more secluded and private than others. Come on," he grabbed
G'wen's arm gently to lead him towards one of the many private areas
he often visited alone or with special friends. It only took them a
few moments and a duck through a little cave-like structure before
they emerged onto an empty strand of beach.

"There you go," C'jex said, spreading his arms wide and turning to
grin at G'wen. "One of the best views of the ocean I can think of ever
having!"

"Whow!" G'wen squeezed C'jex's arm before stepping away to take in
the full view of the ocean and the white sands underfoot. It was
everything he had imagined it would be, with the water an impossible
pale blue and the waves pounding. Just off the shoreline, clouds were
building, making the water under them dance with a different colour
blue.

Excited, the lad plopped on the sands and tore off his boots before
running down to the waves. Off in the distance there was a rumble of
thunder. At the ocean's edge, he stopped to let the waves tickle over
his feet, after rolling up his trousers to his knees. In the sticky
heat of the day, the water felt cool and wonderful.

"You coming too?" G'wen turned to look back at the handsome rider,
his smile and dancing eyes some what obscured by his hair turned black
by the fading light.

He couldn't help but watch the site as the young rider took off with
an exuberance that even C'jex had to admit was exhilarating. With a
cocky grin forming on his face, he slipped out of his own boots before
darting down to the water. Normally, he might have stripped completely
but he was in too much of a hurry to join in the fun, and to be honest
he could have cared less if his clothes got wet as he was used to
living so near the ocean.

"You know your eyes seem to sparkle more when your here at the water,"
he said with a bit of a wink as he dove into the water that was
splashing against the short. "Come on, swim out with a bit with me,"
he called as he resurfaced and shook the droplets of water from his
face and hair.

"All the way out there? Are you mad?" Was he mad? G'wen hovered
around the shoreline, trying to conquer a ridiculous fear that said
the ocean was dangerous. Come on, he had swam plenty of times in the
lakes back home, how much worse could the ocean be? But then again,
what about his trousers? He_could_always take them off, but then
again... G'wen glanced shyly out to C'jex before a plan formed.
Quickly he kicked off his trousers but left his shorts on. Those he
could always take off before the trip /between/ later. After adding
his shirt to the small pile, he waded out to the bluerider.

A large wave hit them, knocking G'wen clear off his feet, as he was by
far the shorter of the two. Spluttering he reached out to C'jex.
"This salt water! It's so salty!"

When he realised he had reached out for the bluerider's arms, he began
to chide himself before remembering this wasn't Dragonsafall anymore,
this guy wasn't going to know his background and certainly wasn't
going to ask for the same things the blueriders back home were
harassing him for. And this man was handsome and closer to his own
age than those scumbags. Just then a clap of thunder rumbled just
overhead, causing G'wen to yelp and dive for C'jex's arms.

He watched with a smile as G'wen swam out to join him and nearly
reached for the smaller lad when he saw him get swept under the waves.
As soon as he emerged and reached for him, C'jex quickly held onto the
greenrider. A smile on his face.

"Not used to the ocean waves, eh?" He asked as he grinned at his new
friend and felt the strength in the lad's arms from his hours of
training. Just then the thunder clapped loudly and in an instant G'wen
was in his arms. C'jex felt his breath catch as he felt G'wen's bare
chest and legs. He was so close he could look directly into his eyes.
Kicking his own legs to keep them both afloat, he tried to soothe
G'wen. "It's alright," he said, his arms holding onto the smaller
greenrider as he found himself wondering if the boy had a weyrmate of
his own back home. "Storms blow in here quite often, but we might need
to head for shore."

The boy nodded, hushed as he felt something rather firm bump him in
the leg as he sputtered in C'jex's arms. He looked up into the man's
eyes, nervous fear in his own...and excitement.

C'jex had felt that contact like the bolt of lightning that flashed
across the sky at that very moment.

"Come on," he said, sputtering as a wave washed over them sending
water spraying into his mouth. One hand still holding onto G'wen he
swam for shore as the skyline darkened further, indicating a strong
storm was approaching. It wasn't far to the shore and as his feet
touched the sand, C'jex held tightly to G'wen's arm and pulled him
with him onto the sands. His eyes took in the lean boy's frame for the
first time as they stood side by side, gasping for breath. He couldn't
help but admire G'wen's slight frame. He was a perfect greenrider.

"You okay?" C'jex asked a bit breathlessly, knowing the swim back had
been rougher as the waves had picked up. He'd thought for a few
moments that he would lose the slight boy. He plucked at his own shirt
which clung to his body like a second skin, his wet trousers not able
to hide what he was feeling as his eyes raked over the bare flesh
beside him.

Thunder boomed again as a flash of light lit the sky. "We can wait out
the storm in my weyr if you'd like?" He asked it as both an invitation
and a question. Perhaps then he'd have a chance to find out more about
his new friend and see whether he might be interested in what was
causing C'jex's blood to pump.

G'wen nodded ad flushed, seeing all of C'jex's body framed by his wet
clothes which hid nothing. Nothing, not a single thing. The lad
clutched his own still-dry shirt and trousers, just in case he was
having the same 'issue' the bluerider was. Another clap of thunder
and lightening caused him to yelp and wince. "Can your blue direct my
Neath there? I hate the thought of her out in this." He bit his lower
lip, feeling shy even though he was ready to follow C'jex.

"Sure," **Ohoneth, find Neath and direct her to our weyr.** A few
moments passed before the blue responded. }:She is on her way:{

"Ohoneth has taken care of it. She's on her way." He paused as he
glanced at G'wen. "Come on, we'll take the back steps. And just so you
know, _nothing_ will happen unless you want it to," he knew his own
interest was clearly evident, so he felt the need to reassure the
greenrider. "But regardless we'll be safe until this storm blows
over." He gently tugged G'wen's arm once the boy was ready and led the
way back to the Weyr and the back caverns that would lead to his weyr.
Everyone was hustling about in the bowl, tying things down, preparing
for the imminent storm. It was a common ritual among those at Dolphin
Cove. One never knew how severe these fast moving storms could become.

}:There's a flit_and_a canine here:{ came the disgruntled voice of Neath.

**Be nice, you're a guest here** G'wen 'felt' her sniff at that, no
doubt also miffed she had been torn away from eying up some bronzes,
by the storm. He felt giddy, trying to placate her and also trying
not to think about C'jex's beautiful body still framed in his wet
clothes.

Just as they got to the weyr, the heavens opened up and the rains came
down hard, followed by a huge clap of thunder. If he hadn't been busy
yelping and diving for C'jex's arms, G'wen might have laughed at the
sight of the two dragons, both almost the same in size, the blue
looking perfectly happy, the green rather pissed off. But once in
C'jex's arms, he had other things to think about.

The bluerider's need pressing hard against his own hips and stomach,
G'wen's last logical thought was shardit with chit-chat. Dropping the
clothes and boots still in his hands, he pressed his own body as
closely as he could to the man and reached up to kiss him deeply,
letting him know just how badly he wanted him. With his hands, he
started to lift C'jex's shirt up before deciding to run his fingers
over the top of his trousers, all but begging them to come off. He
wanted to run his lips, his tongue, over the man, to feel him
hard in him.

C'jex groaned at the feel of the greenrider's mouth and hands on his
body. He instantly returned the kiss with all the desire he was
feeling. His hands slipped around to G'wen's back, pulling the other
boy closer to him.

Pulling back from the kiss, he yanked his shirt off over his head. "I
didn't expect such a pleasant welcome when we arrived," C'jex remarked
with a happy smile on his face. He reached his hand to the side of
G'wen's face, cupping his cheek. "I'd love to share more with you."
Then leaning in, he captured G'wen's lips again in a gentle yet firm
kiss, letting the greenrider know exactly where things between them
were headed.

The greenrider returned the kiss ferociously. As the kiss broke he
playfully bit C'jex's lower lip. "I thought we'd just cut to the
chase," he murmured a bit breathlessly before kissing him once more.
He glanced over at the bed but it seemed just too far away. A counter
table was just behind him. Managing to finally loosen C'jex's
trousers, he got out of his own as the bluerider's fell, revealing his
naked form. G'wen's breath caught. C'jex was truly beautiful, and he
was more than ready.

He leaned back on the table, wrapping his legs around C'jex, feeling
his raw muscles under leg and hand. After his gentle dallies with
F'neb and D'arvn, he wanted--he needed--something more intense. His
hand reached down to grasp C'jex firmly, silently asking him to take
him.

C'jex did exactly as the greenrider demanded. The encounter was over
far sooner than he'd expected.

"Amazing," he murmured as he gave the greenrider a cocky grin.

G'wen could only half nod as he tried to catch his breath. The
bluerider had been a lot more...vigorous than anyone he had been with
before. Obviously a man who knew what he was doing. His body was
throbbing with an odd mix of pleasure and pain and he slid one leg
down from where he had hooked it over C'jex's shoulder. He looked
deeply into the man's eyes and smiled shyly. "Kiss me?" He bit his
lower lip, hoping this man just didn't think him a whore.

C'jex did exactly as G'wen asked, capturing his lover's lips in a
deeply satisfied and seductive kiss. "You were amazing," he murmured
as he pulled back just enough to look G'wen in the eyes. His lips came
down once again, crushing the other boy's against his.

"Would you care to stay for awhile?" He asked, wrapping his arms
around G'wen's lithe body. C'jex always enjoyed some time together
with his partners after. It just made everything seem less wanton and
more like a true act of sharing oneself with another.

"I'd love to." He softly caressed his lover's chest and neck with
hands and lips as he was carried over to the bed, once more the shy
boy he'd always been.
