R'enh

Saibra wrapped her arms around herself as she watched the snow drift
lazily down into the empty Dragonsfalls Weyrbowl. Anyone with good
sense was tucked away safely inside their weyrs, enjoying the warmth
of a fire, or perhaps a lover. The Weyrwoman turned and looked around
at her empty Weyr. No lovers for her. Only R'enh, at Dolphin Cove. It
was a Threadfall day there, or she would have suggested they meet up
as they had done often in the past....

**Flashback**

It was snowing at Dragonsfall, and well below freezing, so the
opportunity to get out of the cold and into some sun wasn't an
opportunity that Saibra was willing to pass up. Bundled for the trip
/between/ the Dragonsfall Weyrwoman began unbuttoning her jacket and
loosening her scarf the moment Chioneth appeared above the sunny, warm
beach. There were other dragons littering the area with their riders,
she recognized some as other Dragonsfall riders getting out of the
cold, and a fair few she recognized from Dolphin Cove as well.

She spotted R'enh's dragon down the beach, set a part a little from
the other beach goers where they could talk freely amongst themselves
and have a little bit of privacy.

Chioneth greeted Mnoranth warmly as she settled down beside the
bronze, allowing Saibra to dismount.

R'enh turned with a smile when he heard his lifemate greeting
Chioneth. He began walking back toward where she was depositing her
lovely rider. "Hello," his eyes warmed at the sight of her lovely
legs. "You're looking very good."

"You are a sight for sore eyes yourself." She smiled, dropping down to
the sand and immediately launching herself at the bronzerider, arms
thrown around his neck.

R'enh laughed and swung her in a circle around him. Then he set her on
her feet and greeted her with a proper kiss... and pat on her bottom.
"I've missed you," he said with smiling eyes when their lips finally
parted.

"I've missed you too." Saibra had been anxious to see the man again
after their conversation on the beach. "How have you been? How is your
shoulder?"

R'enh wasn't one to lay about 'suffering' so he'd worked hard, even
joining in some of the Weyrling drills to get his strength back. He
rolled his shoulder and smiled. "Getting there. Good enough to hold
you though." He couldn't deny the flare of desire in his eyes.

"That's what I like to hear." Her eyes matched his.

}:Are you well, Mnoranth?:{ Chioneth asked as she curved out a wallow
for herself in the warm sand.

The big bronze curled next to her and rumbled his own greeting. }:I am
well healed,:{ he replied. The proceeded to the much more important
flattering for Chioneth was more beautiful than his memory could ever
describe.

R'enh's arms tightened gently around Saibra and his voice grew husky.
"How lovely you are tonight," he kissed her temple content just to
have her in his arms again.

Settling down onto the blanket that was spread over the sand, Saibra
settled in against R'enh, feeling a relaxed calm envelope her that
didn't exist when R'enh wasn't around. "How are things at Dolphin
Cove?"

He put his arms around her again and sighed. "A little cooler than it
used to be," he chuckled.

"You can transfer to Dragonsfall any time you want, you know, I'll
keep you warm." She teased, tilting her head back to look at him, "But
then, who would keep N'vanik straight?"

He didn't really think there was much to say on that subject and just
made a sound to affirm her words and held her a little closer for a
moment. "I wish I could," he said softly into her hair. "What to go
for a swim?"

"I would love to," she said, moving away from him to finish peeling
out of the rest of her clothes to the swim suit that she wore
underneath.

A piercing wolf whistle followed her along with a grinning bronze
rider. Of course he stayed strategically behind her where he had the
best view of the bouncing flesh. **I'm a very lucky man.**

**End Flashback**

She sighed as she was broken from the memory by the voice of her dragon.

}:Come and join me, I will keep you warm while we watch the snow.:{
Chioneth invited, lifting a golden wing just enough for her rider to
climb underneath and then rest against the gold's warm flank. }:You
are not alone, you are mine, we are one.:{

Saibra smiled, allowing herself to bask in the emotions that her
lifemate sent to her. "Yes, we are one."
