N'vanik

N'vanik

Long anticipated day finally arrived when Naryath suddenly woke up
with brilliant shine on her hide. She had been snippy and moody for
days. G'dori had been on duty at the dragon infirmary when it
happened. Quickly apologizing from his workmates, the young greenrider
jogged to join his dragon at the feeding pens. Ged was pleased to see
that Naryath was attracting a decent group of chasers. Mostly blues
but there were browns and bronzes too. They had a brief mental depate
if Naryath should eat the herdbeast she had taken down or only drink
it's blood. Ged won. Then she was on the air, taunting and teasing the
males hot on her heels. Ged lost himself and became her.

Loseth couldn't keep up with the green but he followed as best he
could, waiting for an opportunity. Skill and a bit of luck would win
the prize. One of the blues made a move for Naryath and missed,
hissing with frustration. Loseth dodged him and moved a little closer
to the glowing green.

Twisting away from blue Naryath ended up directly below Loseth. She
didn't even register his presence before she was caught.

The bronze twined with her quickly, bugling his triumph. }:You are mine!:{

N'vanik grabbed the young greenrider, his body burning with need.

Ged wasn't resisting at all. A part of him that was still concious was
saying: ** Oh, boy, I got the Weyrleader!**

~*~

First thing Ged did when he woke up again, was to check out Naryath.
She was sleeping, feeling satisfied and not at all upsett that Loseth
had surprised her. Then he came aware of his own feelings. Sore from
places but otherwise he was feeling good. It had been rougher than he
had expected but still pleasurable.

N'vanik shifted, feeling a warm body against him. It took a moment for
him to realize he'd won a flight and the flat chest under his arm made
him remember the rider was male. N'vanik moved away a little so he
could look at him. "You okay?" The boy was young and fresh out of
weyrlinghood, but G'dori also came from a large weyrbred family so he
was probably fine.

"I'm fine," Ged replied and lifted his upper body up so he was leaning
against his elbows. He gave the Weyrleader an impish grin. "Now, this
is a first flight worth remembering."

N'vanik relaxed at that, giving the greenrider a lazy smile. "Lucky you."

"Yeah. Not that many guys out there who can boast having been with the
Weyrleader," G'dori grinned cheekily. Despite his attitude, Ged was
actually rather inexperienced. When it came to sex, the times he had
actually done it could still be counted with the fingers of one hand.
He flirted a lot and liked to give impression that he had done it all
and with everyone.

"And I'm not even gonna run away screaming." N'vanik preferred female
greenriders for obvious reasons but it didn't matter all that much if
the rider was male. Winning was winning.

"Well, isn't that an ego stroker," G'dori grinned again. He knew
better than ask for seconds from a bronzerider. N'vanik might be easy
going but he was still bronzerider. "Seen my clothes anywhere?" he
asked, looking around.

"Um, I think they ended up all over." Their clothing was scattered
around the room. It made N'vanik think about the flight, how good it
had felt, and leftover dragonlust heated his body.

"Yeah, looks like it," Ged remarked and got up. He started to pick up
the discarded clothes.

N'vanik found himself staring and turned away with an amused shake of
his head. Flights sure could mess with you. The first few times he'd
woken up next to a man it had been so confusing and disturbing, but
N'vanik had quickly learned to accept it. "Thanks for a good flight."

"No, thank _you_" Ged replied and sorted out the clothes he had
collected to his and N'vanik's pile.

N'vanik chuckled as he reached for his undershorts, keeping a few feet
of distance between him and G'dori. "Thank Loseth." The bronze was
happily curled around Naryath

"I will," Ged replied. He quickly got his clothes on, in Dolphin
Cove's climate, there wasn't much to dress on.
"I see you around." He was ready to leave and maybe find some nice
bluerider.

"See you around." The Weyrleader pulled on the rest of his clothes,
wondering if Talryne was busy.
