"Well, this is a lot better than the first time we came to our senses
after a flight." Saidrene panted with an impish grin as she lay
sprawled atop J'ackt's chest.
J'ackt could barely speak; he felt wrung out and impossibly relaxed
after the flight. "Feck yes." His voice was a low mutter.
"Shaffit...they were right about flights."
Saidrene tilted her head up and swiped her bangs from her eyes, "Yes,
they were. I'm glad you won, that makes all of this more comfortable
at least."
He made a soft grunt of agreement, his hands stroking her back with
languor. "Glad I won too."
"This is Zith's first win isn't it?" She asked, laying her head on his
shoulder, enjoying the feel of his calloused hands on her back. It
seemed as if they were always experiencing "firsts" together.
"Mmmhmm." He grunted an affirmative before shifting her weight just a
little to get her settled in a more comfortable position. "Was I too
rough?"
Saidrene shook her head, sending her hair spilling over her shoulders,
"No more than usual." There was a grin in her voice.
One brow twitched upwards and he gave a short chuckle. "But it was
wild." There was almost a purr of satisfaction in his voice. His hands
lowered to grip her bottom lightly, cupping her curves in his hands
with smug possession. "Feck Faranth, girl, but you're good."
"So are you." She said, nipping at the smooth curve of his neck with
her teeth. Out on the ledge Ashareth hummed approvingly, still basking
in the satisfaction of a good mating flight.
"I'm glad I got you first." He paused and then flashed a wide smile at
her, feeling more completely relaxed than he had in a good long while.
"Again." He shivered at the nip and squeezed her bottom, before
continuing to caress the soft skin. He turned his head slightly to
look at her, his eyes warm. The warmth in his expression was not a
frequent occurrence; rarely had he felt enough trust to let his
feelings show to anyone. He ran a hand up her back and then down
again. "Never told you this, but..." he shifted a bit, still looking
in her eyes."I really care about you, Saidrene. You're..." He
struggled with his words a little. "I think you know me better than
anyone."
A soft smile curved across her face, giving her a soft glow as she
looked down into J'ackt's eyes, "I really care about you too, J'ackt.
You know you can always come to me if you need anything."
He lifted a hand to run a finger over her cheek, considering her. His
touch was light and gentle, but just a moment later, he rolled,
settling between her thighs. He wriggled a little, getting
comfortable. Propped up on his elbows over her, he fingered a strand
of her hair, then bent to kiss her gently, then with deeper affection.
The affection that J'ackt showed was unusual, and it caught Saidrene a
little off guard, not that she didn't enjoy it. She loved these soft,
tender moments with J'ackt when he wasn't so guarded and defensive.
Saidrene knew that J'ackt was simply a product of the cards life had
dealt him, but not everyone seemed to understand that.
He slowly ended the kiss, then looked down at her, lightly kissing at
her lower lip. "How do you feel about getting out of the
flightrooms, going to my weyr and just staying naked the rest of the
day? I can have food brought up."
"I would like that a lot." Saidrene agreed, thinking that sounded a
lot more like the J'ackt that she was use to.
It was his turn to nip at her neck, then kiss it softly. "Good." He
shifted against her thighs and then pressed downwards. "But not yet. "
Saidrene's smile turned more sultry as she hitched her thighs up to
wrap her legs around J'ackt's hips, "Yes, we have a little unfinished
business to take care of here first."
"Little?" His brow arched as he bent his head to look between them.
"Oh, I don't think so."
She laughed, "I mean, excuse me, we have an incredibly large, hard
problem to take care of before we leave."
Her laugh brought on his own and in his laughter, what ever sensual
seduction that was in his expression broke. He snorted and chuckled
against her shoulder, his own shaking with mirth. "Incredibly
large...Faranth, are you trying to make my ego worse?"
"Oh, I don't think that's possible." She teased, stroking her fingers
down his sides playfully.
"You make a very good point." He lifted his head and wiggled in the
cradle of her hips again, then his chuckle faded into a soft groan.
"Faranth, you always feel good."
Leaning up, Saidrene nipped at J'ackt's earlobe before murmuring in
his ear, "Come on, fly with me again."
He didn't wait after that, coming to her with eager willingness.
