**You look too happy.** Saibra thought as she looked in the mirror at
her rosy cheeks and bright eyes. It had been a long time since she'd
happily looked forward to something during the sevenday, but lately,
she'd been seeing R'enh on a more regular basis and for this Restday
they'd planned on visiting the tavern at the Vintner Hall in Amber
Hills.
Reaching up and stroking her eye make-up into place with one finger,
Saibra mentally scolded herself. **You shouldn't enjoy this so much.
You're getting too attached. You're not someone who does attachments,
remember? Besides, R'enh isn't a guy that does attachments either.
What about Aishara?**
One ebony eyebrow arched as she regarded herself in the mirror. "Let's
not think about that today." She murmured to her reflection, and then
winked.
}:You might want to put your face on faster. Mnoranth just arrived
above the Weyr.:{ Chioneth's tone was filled with amusement as she
pressed a golden eyeridge to the weyr entrance to peer in at her
rider.
Moments later Mnoranth backwinged and touched down lightly on the
ledge next to Chioneth. His attention is only for the gold as he
warbled his greeting.
R'enh chuckled as he dismounted, not that he'd expect anything else
from his big bronze. "Saibra," he called as he walked in, "You ready?"
"Yes. All set." Saibra said as she greeted R'enh with a smile and
pressed a kiss to his cheek. Her blue eyes swept over his visage
approvingly, "You look great."
"Why thank you Weyrwoman," he said and swept her a formal bow. He
winked and smiled "you look great too." He put his arms around her
with one hand on the small of her back and the other gently squeezing
her derriere.
"Keep that up, sir, and we won't make it to the tavern." She warned
teasingly, a playful gleam in her eyes.
"Well," he said slowly. "I do want to dance but we can do the vertical
before we graduate to horizontal."
There was a pause where the two regarded one another, the air between
them crackling with chemistry, "You'd better not mess up my hair." She
grinned as she fisted her hands into the front of his shirt and pulled
him toward her couch.
"I'll do my best," he agreed and proceeded to undress her trying to be
careful of her hair. In the end he wasn't entirely successful but they
had certainly enjoyed themselves. As he held her he thought about the
intensity of their relationship and what he wanted for the future.
"Let's stay right here," he suggested to the top of her head.
Saibra was only too willing to oblige R'enh as she lay tucked against
him on the couch. "I can have some food brought up for us." she said.
Chioneth's mood mirrored the satisfied, happy one of her rider as she
rubbed shoulders with Mnoranth.
He smiled, "that would be great once I get done holding you."
Closing her eyes, Saibra couldn't help relaxing as she breathed in the
wonderful scent that was R'enh. Laying there in that moment she wished
that every evening could be that way-- coming home and unwinding with
her favorite person. But even if he could sometimes stay the night
because of a Restday, it wasn't often. They were both busy people, she
had her duty to Dragonsfall and he has his duties to Dolphin Cove. Not
to mention the other women in R'enh's life, and the other men in hers.
"Chioneth is going to rise soon." She said suddenly, breaking the
silence. "Will Mnoranth come and chase?"
They could both hear the reaction from outside when Mnoranth
trumpeted. "That would be a yes," R'enh chuckled. He knew there were
all sorts of complications but he wouldn't really have to deal with
any of them until and unless they won her flight.
"Good, I really would like you to be there." Saibra's voice was soft
as she searched his face.
"And I really want to be there," he growled and rolled over on top of her again.
