"Alright," he said turning around and taking the chair across from
where she sat on the bed. The weyr was tiny compared to his own with
only a small table and the bed and some simple storage. He looked at
her with a small tilt to his lips. "You do have nice legs when you
aren't using them to kick me."
She flushed even further and bit her lower lip. She kept her gaze on
her hands, now embarrassed by her display. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't
have done that. I...I normally have better control than that." Ninaine
shifted a little. "But please...don't talk about my legs. It
embarrasses me."
She clearly had no idea how her heightened color and lip biting would
affect a nearby male especially when she looked so pitiful.. "For
now," he said with a bit of a smirk. "Besides, control isn't all it's
cracked up to be. I'm sorry for some of the things I said," he added
after a moment.
Sitting on the edge of the bed now, she took several deep breaths,
hands clenching and then unclenching as she attempted to return to a
state of calm. "A lady should always be composed and in control of
herself." She spoke softly as if reminding herself and explaining to
him at the same time. "Men don't appreciate emotional displays and a
lady should always be aware of that." She closed her eyes for only a
moment, forcing her expression into a picture of calm before opening
them again and her voice was more even, though a little flat. "It's my
fault that you said them. You meant them. I should not have been so
out of control that you had to forcibly calm me."
"I think it's very different than that Ninaine," he looked at her
speculatively. "Passion is a wonderful thing when it's channeled
appropriately. I'm not sorry that you showed me your passion."
Her face seemed to be permanently pink around him. The way he said it
seemed to imply so much more. She looked away before she cleared her
throat. "That wasn't passion. That was being angry and like you said,
childish. I haven't lost my temper like that since I was a child. I
won't do it again." Unthinking, she lifted her fingers to her lips and
touched them, remembering the brief brush of his lips against hers.
That too, would not happen again.
He didn't exactly sigh but he felt like it. She clung to her beliefs
as if they were straps to her dragon. "Trust me," he stood and pulled
her up. "You will." He enfolded her in a warm embrace for just a
moment. Then reached up and tilted her chin up for another, warmer
kiss.
"No I won't..." She paused as he stood her up and wrapped his arms
around her. She stiffened immediately and opened her mouth, brow
furrowed, "What do you think..." His lips covered hers and she went
utterly still, eyes popping open. She lifted her hands to push against
his chest in a struggle for just a moment before the taste of him
stopped her and she sighed, eyes fluttering closed. Hesitantly, she
responded until her fingers wound into the front of his tunic and all
thought disappeared.
His only intent had been to taste her again in response to her brush
of the lips. So he slackened his grip when she pushed back. But then
her response changed everything. It was sweet and tentative and
awkward and endearing. He deepened the kiss and his hands dropped to
her waist. He didn't say anything and didn't want to break the spell
so he focused his entire attention on her lips.
The kiss deepened and the taste of him was stronger, but she didn't
pull away. Instead her hands slid upwards on their own to clutch at
his neck and shoulders. Unthinking, she pressed against him, suddenly
very eager for the kissing to continue. The warmth strength of his
body was enticing in a way she'd never experienced and she wanted more
of it.
As she pressed against him his own body responded to her with a will
of it's own and his arms tightened. He broke the kiss and then ran
them softly down the side of her neck and nipped her ear before
licking out with the tip of his tongue and returning to her mouth.
Ninaine jerked against his arms and gave a shuddering moan, her walls
of restraint crumbling as he seemed to know just where to kiss her to
make them disappear. She may have been inexperienced and a bit
awkward, but the passion she had claimed was just anger surged in her
and she clung to him, her response growing eager. The humming from
outside the room, deep from dragon throats only seemed to encourage
her.
}: That is...interesting. :{ Luneth had long since stopped growling
and was soaking in the feeling coming from her rider. }: She has never
felt like this before. What is it? Is because he's eating her face?:{
She nudged Haloth, nuzzling along his side.
N'call's hands had begun to wander and he pushed her back onto the bed
and lowered himself down with her. The passion she displayed
electrified them both. He slipped a hand inside the baggy neck of her
top and found a soft fleshy mound to explore with his fingers. He
rolled its tip between them and plunged a demanding tongue into her
mouth.
Haloth for his part nuzzed the little green back but then }:She's too
small.:{ the warning went to his rider. Though the green dragon wasn't
at all distressed she hadn't yet gone /between/ on her own.
The warning reached N'call like an unwelcome bucket of cold water. His
eyes flew open and he withdrew the offending hand. Rolling off the bed
he swore. "Shards and shells!" he scrubbed a hand over his face and
paced at the foot of the bed.
So wrapped up in the hunger that he had pulled out of her, Ninaine
barely registered the soft furs at her back. There was a need that
surged that she had never before felt and more than anything she
wanted to satisfy it. Eager little moans were uttered between kisses
that became frantic when he touched her bare skin. Her back arched
immediately to seek further pressure and touch, and her hands clutched
at his back as she accepted the deeper kiss with a low cry. His touch
felt so _good_. Nothing she had ever experienced compared to it.
But it all suddenly ended as he jerked away; Ninaine could only stare
at him in dumbfounded confusion, her lips swollen and hair tousled
fetchingly around her head. Why had he stopped... Suddenly, like her
own icy splash of realization it hit her what they had been doing. Her
eyes bulged and she hurriedly sat up, tugging her shirt back in to
place. What had she _done_? She had let him kiss her, _touch_ her in
places no one should touch! She drew her knees up to her chest and
looked away from him, closing her eyes tight. She hadn't even tried to
stop him like she should have. Her mother had been _right_. What had
she been thinking?
What about Luneth? A quick thought showed that Luneth was no worse for
the experience, but was now confused by the completely opposite
emotions pouring from her lifemate. }: Mine? Are you okay? Why are you
sad? You were feeling good. I liked you feeling good. Why did you
stop? :{ Completely confused, now the young green turned to Haloth.
}: What happened? Why did they stop? I didn't want them to stop. :{
"I'm sorry," he apologized to her. "I'm so very sorry, I shouldn't
have done that. It's entirely my fault Ninaine." His body still craved
what she'd unwittingly offered and he turned away from her in an
effort to spare her the view of his ... state until he could bring it
back under control.
Haloth nuzzled the green. }:Ours sometimes make each other happy.
Sometimes they don't. You are still young little one. Grow a bit more
and mine with make yours feel very very good.:{
She couldn't even look at him. Her eyes closed tightly to avoid
letting the tears leaking down her cheeks. Her body still trembled
with the unfamiliar ache that he had began to stoke, and the fact that
she hadn't even attempted to stop him made her question too much all
at once. "Please. Just go away, N'call." She rested her head on her
knees, curled up into a ball as she wrapped her arms around her knees
in an unconscious shield. "Just go away and don't come back."
}: Well, she's not happy _now_. :{ She pulled away from Haloth and
peered at door, her eyes whirling with worry. }: She is very upset and
it's his fault. Mine is _crying_, Haloth. :{ The little green now cast
an accusatory glare at the big bronze. }: He should not have stopped.
But he has, now he needs to go. Now. :{ Her talons scraped across the
stone to accentuate her thoughts.
"Yes," N'call answered utterly ashamed of himself and his actions.
He'd always stayed away from the weyrlings and had no clue how he'd
let it go this far. "I'm sorry," he ground out and strode the few
steps to her door. "I'm sorry," he repeated a final time and then he
was out of her weyr and vowing to himself not to return. One thing he
knew for certain. J'darin was going to skin him alive.
He rushed past the little green and vaulted onto Haloth. Grabbing a
strap he told him to go and the bronze flung himself into the air.
Moments later they winked /between/.
