K'mai had cleaned up a bit and had wine with two glasses waiting when
D'lorn arrived. "Hi." He gave the greenrider a light kiss on the
cheek. "Would you like some wine?"
"Never turn down a good vintage," he quoted. The greenrider accepted the
kiss and wondered anew just what he was playing at. He wasn't really the
casual sex sort. Still, it had been too long and he needed something to
jumpstart things. Besides that, he was starting to just feel undesirable and if K'mai wanted him, then why not?
K'mai poured two glasses and sat on the sofa. He held one out to
D'lorn, encouraging the greenrider to sit next to him. "Did the kids
behave today?"
"Mm for the most part. Since they're still very young they aren't doing much yet which is good. Eat, sleep, eat oil." That was when they were easy to manage. It was when they were moving that things got harder. "How's life in the wings?" Taking the drink, he did sit down and leaned back into the couch, relaxing. He took one pull and swallowed.
"Ah, the usual. Both boring routine and life-risking excitement."
Nothing like dragonriding to make you appreciate how short life could
be, which was way K'mai embraced the good things in life so
whole-heartedly.
"MMm weyrling wing isn't so bad. Not great either, but not so bad." D'lorn had to remind himself that Blooding was never looked forward to.
Taking another drink, he turned the glass around in his hands and then
looked over at the bluerider, taking his measure. Something in his face said he was considering forgetting the drink before he lost his nerve.
"So the little ones are okay, and you deserve to relax." K'mai leaned
over and kissed him, a soft brush of lips.
It had been quite a bit of time since that had happened last and D'lorn felt his body wake up. Allowing the contact, he even leaned into it, urging K'mai to explore.
That response was exactly what K'mai had been hoping for. The
bluerider leaned back enough to set their glasses on the table before
turning his attention back to D'lorn. With a playful smile, he bent to
kiss along the other man's neck, one hand slipping around his waist.
Putting his hands in that luxurious blonde hair, D'lorn smiled as they
kissed. He was almost a decade older than the bluerider but he wasn't about to say no. There was too much that he needed to get out of the encounter. **He has a strong back**
}:Is he strong enough to catch you?:{ Butting in as she usually did,
Villith's tone was curious, though her pleasure was tinging it with a husky tone.
**Definitely.**
K'mai spent several minutes thoroughly kissing D'lorn before he stood
and offered a hand. "Shall we?" All that pent up desire... Oh, yes,
this was going to be good.
And here was the moment. D'lorn was not a hatchling though and he knew
what it meant and what it would lead to. And he had no problems with that. Nodding, he got up and followed the bluerider to the bedchamber, shucking his tunic as he went.
