Description: C'lor finally is released from the infirmary.
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 9, day 21 of Turn 3
It felt like he had been cooped up in the infirmary forever. His wounds had finally healed enough for them to allow him to go back to his weyr, but the healers had made sure he understood that he was not to aggravate them by over extending himself. His eyesight was still rather hazy and they didn't think that he would regain enough sight to be able to ever fly in a fighting wing. He had his instructions on exercises to do and how long to do them each day in hand as he stiffly walked outside the infirmary to his waiting dragon. That had been the hardest part of the ordeal and now he could spend as much time with his lifemate as he wanted to.
}:Are you really coming home?:{ the bronze asked curiously. He was waiting rather impatiently for his rider to come outside. It had been so long since he had seen his rider, that Hayreith had wondered if he would be able to see C'lor again. They talked all the time, but it was different knowing his rider was injured and in pain at times.
**I am. Did they move our weyr, yet?** he asked remembering that they had told him that he wasn't allowed to go up to many stairs just yet. His weyr had been on one the upper levels that was rather difficult to access without a dragon. He had a dragon, but wasn't allowed to fly yet so they had relocated him to a temporary weyr.
}:Yes. It is not far, are you allright?:{ Hayreith asked as he saw his rider approaching walking slowly with a stick to help him.
**I'll be fine. It's just hard to walk at the moment. I'll get better with time. Don't worry.** C'lor said trying to make his voice light and worry free for the sake of his dragon. He recognized the green waiting near his lifemate and smiled. His cousin Lanmora had come to make sure he made it to his weyr in one piece. She had taken excellent care of his dragon while he was recovering. Hayreith had told him so on many occassions.
}:Lanmora is here, too.:{ the bronze said as he saw his rider gazing past him.
**I can tell, Hayreith.** he said with a soft chuckle. It still hurt to laugh at times, but he took it as a sign he was getting better.
Lanmora stepped around the two dragons to greet her cousin. "You've made it out alive, cuz. Good for you. I just got back from dropping Caelanah off at home. She wants you to come visit them when you're all better. Let's get you into your weyr. You look exhausted, C'lor." she said helping him along the short distance left to his weyr.
It felt good to not be stuck in the infirmary all day every day, but he still had to take it one day at a time.
