Description: Tafa and Kerchek show an interest in each other and go off to be alone.
Location: Dolphin Hall
Date: month 1, day 21 of Turn 7

Kerchek swam circles around the young dolphins, sending a spray of
bubbles in their faces. This of course set their already playful mood
even more alight and they chased after the larger dolphin with gleeful
abandon. He raced through the water and caught sight of another
dolphin, turned and headed toward her. Kerchek proceeded to 'hide'
behind Tafa, though such a thing was truly impossible since he was
bigger than she was.

Tafa had been enjoying her own little fun in the water, darting up and
down. She'd just stopped to rest, when the others zipped around her.
She turned in the water and nearly bumped right into Kerchek. The
young dolphins zipped around them and one leaped out of the water over
them with a gleeful squee, causing the water to shift with the waves.

Kerchek called out to her, his voice carried by the waves. He darted
forward, then whirled about her. He shifted and turned, a silent
invitation to join in on the fun.

Tafa gave her own little happy sound at the play going on around her.
She watched Kerchek and when she knew she'd timed it right, she darted
forward trying to catch him.

Kerchek hesitated and it was enough to allow Tafa to tag him. He
called at her with his laugh like chatter, then twisted around and did
a double backfinned flip in the water.

She chirped in a happy way when she caught up, then soon flipped
around to try and follow him. Then, needing air, she burst forth from
the surface with a happy cree. She loved the play and banter between
them.

Kerchek twisted and chased after him. He leaped from water into air,
then fell back. He circled around to leap again only to somersault
twice before diving back beneath the waters. Finally, he popped up
next to Tafa. He gazed at her a moment before he gently nudged her.

She chirped at him and tried to nip him with her beak when he nudged
her. Then she darted off with a swish of her tail and a little noise
that suggested he should follow.

Kerchek flicked his tail which sent a spray of bubbles up toward the
surface as he hurried after the female dolphin. He caught up to her,
then slowed down so that he could hover beside her as they swam.

She enjoyed his company. Tafa slowed her play so they could simply
swim side by side. Every so often she would shift in the water to bump
up against him playfully. Her mouth opened in her form of a laugh when
she did so. Just when he would start to get close to her, she would
twist and swim away, teasing him to continue to follow her.

The play was taking a turn, a whole new meaning. This wasn't the sort
of thing he did with the young ones. He chittered and swam after her,
more than happy to continue following the beautiful dolphin.

Tafa was eager now. Her body yearning something she hadn't had in
a while. She slowed her pace to allow him to catch her. Her dorsal fin
flicking happily at having him beside her. When he neared she reached
a flipper out and brushed it against his side, chattering happily all
the while.

Excitement coloured Kerchek's own chittering. He knew what she wanted
and he was more than happy to oblige. He crooned to her and eased
closer as the two continued to swim, away from the other dolphins,
away from the humans, and somewhere more private.
