D'arvn

U'fouinn was lounging around, not really intent on much of anything at
the moment. Amizth was happily curled up on the ledge, enjoying a bit
of sunshine. U'fouinn knew there were things he _could_ be doing, but
he found that he didn't really _want_ to do anything at all. He was
happy and just enjoying that fact while he had a few moments to do so.

D'arvn hummed as he trotted up the outside steps to the weyr he shared
with U'fouinn. He chuckled when he topped the stairs to see Amizith
sunning. He knew his perceptions were colored by Falzeth but she
really was such a lovely green.

"U'fo," he called as he walked in from the outer weyr. "I have
something for you."

"D'arvn," U'fouinn called out happily, rising from his seated position
to meet his lover as he entered. His eyes lit up the moment he saw him
approaching.

D'arvn grinned and pulled the package out from behind his back. "Here,
I made this for you." He'd spent all of the hours he could without
causing any suspicion with the weavers sewing the new gather tunic.
He'd taken Briata's advice and the trim contrasted with U'fo's
coloring.

U'fouinn looked up at his weyrmate with joy and surprise evident on
his face as he gently accepted the package he was given. His hands
skimmed over the covering with care as he took in the fact that
D'arvin had given him a special gift.

"I'm know I will treasure it for always," he stated quietly even
before he opened the wrappings. U'fouinn couldn't hide his
anticipation as he looked back at the gift and slipped his fingers
into the wrappings to shed the cover. His eyes truly lit up the moment
they rested on the magnificent tunic that lay in his lap. It was
almost too fantastic to even touch.

"Thank you, D'arvin. It's amazing!"

"You're welcome sweetheart," he said. "You'll look wonderful in it.
Try it on for me."

"I'd love to!" U'fouinn declared, rising and quickly shucking off his
current tunic. He turned and gave D'arvn a playful grin as he stood
there bare chested, before pulling the new tunic over his head and
securing it in place.

Twirling around, he couldn't help but grin happily. "It's perfect!" He
declared the moment he stopped showing off to look D'arvin in the
eyes. Then stepping forward he reached a hand up and pulled his
lover's mouth to his. "You've made me _very_ happy. Let me do the same
for you now," U'fouinn whispered into his mouth.

D'arvn stood and took his sweet 'mate into his arms deepening the
kiss. "You always do love," he declared. "Lets not muss this," he
reached down and pulled the hem of the tunic back up and over U'fo's
head. Then he shook it out and laid it carefully on the chair and
pulled him back into his arms.

U'fouinn had loved the feel of the new tunic on his chest, but he
loved even more the feel of his lover pressed tightly to him.

"Best to to muss yours either, even though tis not as new," he slipped
his hands under D'arvn's tunic with a grin and pulled it over his
lover's head.

D'arvn grabbed U'fouinn's hand and pulled him toward the sleeping
chamber. "I should give you gifts more often," he laughed.
