C'jex slipped into the kitchens, the smell of food making his stomach rumble. He slipped up behind a favorite cook of his, nuzzling his nose into her neck.

"Oh, my sweet, what kind of little treats do you have for me today?" His words were playful, just as he often was. When she giggled and handed him a pasty and a wink, C'jex gave her a nice little pat on the behind before turning back around, biting into the sweet treat.

Qorri watched him walk by from her place in the corner. Her eyes followed his well-kept form and she considered the young rider. She'd seen him quite a few times in the last sevenday. Using the excuse of breaking his habit of pinching food since all he had to do was ask for it, she made up her mind to track him down and have a chat with him.

When he turned, his eyes caught sight of the headwoman in the corner. He raised his treat as though in salute to her, before returning it to his mouth and biting into the pastry. With a smile playing on his lips, he made his way out of the kitchens, into the back corridors and back to his own weyr. Ohoneth was out getting a little snack for himself, so the blue wasn't sunning on the ledge as he often was. C'jex moved over to his trunk and sifted through it looking for the slacks he needed to repair. He'd done torn a hole straight through them chasing Malty in the woods earlier in the week. Where was the silly little pooch? **Probably off chasing Ohoneth somewhere,** he thought with a chuckle and a shake of his head. It was a wonder that pair got along so well.

Qorri took her time since she had plenty of duties to see to. It didn't take long to get the boy's name and find out where his weyr was. Luckily, it was one of the ones that she didn't need a dragon ride to. Frowning, she made her way up the stairs and muttered all the way up there. **He better be worth it** When she reached the floor she wanted, she walked down towards the left, following the number boards where the tunnels split. Locating the right one, Qorri stood for a moment, triumphant. Catching her breath, she reached out a hand to see if he was in there.

After having finished his little treat, C'jex had settled down to the mending task at hand. By far, not one of his favorite things to do, but a necessary part of life in the Weyr. Just as he'd finished the second garment that needed repair, he heard a sound. Looking up, his brows furrowed a bit. Ohoneth hadn't returned. "Who's there?" He called out, figuring if he _had_ heard someone they would reveal themselves now.

"The Headwoman," she answered easily, knowing that worked to get her in anywhere, usually quickly. After all, she had the power to get her hands on most of the Weyr's resources if she needed to.

"Oh! Come in, Headwoman Qorri," C'jex called out, turning to look towards the doorway. Was she here to inform he that he should not be sneaking treats from the kitchen? Not that _that_ mattered, the fun was in spending time with the girls as he got his little treats, not the treats themselves.

She walked inside, slowly, looking around to make sure everything was clean. Once that habit had gone its way, she came in further to find the rider working on his task. "Good day, bluerider. My duty to you."

"And to you headwoman. You are always welcome here." C'jex set aside the patchwork he'd been doing. "To what do I owe the honor of your visit?"

"Well, there is the matter of my counting being off due to certain people pinching things when they could just ask..." She frowned, but not too terribly.

"I'm sure my little treats don't mess your counts up too much," he winked, laying on his charm, "Besides, you know half the fun is pinching the sweet treats. If I have to ask all the time, what fun is there in that? You wouldn't want to deny me such a simple pleasure, would you Qorri?"

"I don't think it's good for a man to get every single thing that he wants. Makes for a very dull life. When you have to work for it, it's always sweeter." She wanted him to know that she was in control of this conversation, but that she was listening or she would have left.

C'jex sighed. There hardly seemed a point to argue with her. He worked just as hard as the other riders, but he'd found ways to enjoy what time he could. Life was _meant_ to be enjoyed. At least that was his philosophy. "It depends on what you're working for," he finally responded. "I can't say _every_ task I've ever done has been rewarded with something sweeter, but...some....definitely have," he tilted his head sideways as he looked at the Headwoman. He was still trying to figure out what exactly had brought her here. He couldn't imagine that she had truly come all this way and was still here over some little treats from the kitchen. So, that meant there must be another reason. C'jex wondered what it could be.

She didn't want to play around forever. She'd put her offer on the table and he could take it or leave it. Walking forward, Qorri came to stand before him, placing a hand on his chest. "Are you a hard worker then, C'jex?" The change in her tone of voice was unmistakable, as was the look in her eyes. He hadn't wanted to _assume_ too much from her words as he'd gotten into more than one spot of trouble for jumping too soon in the past, but the look he saw in her eyes was undeniable. A slow smile crept over his lips.

"Oh, I can be a _very_ hard worker Qorri. _Very_ hard." C'jex reached his hand up and allowed his fingers to dance across her outstretched arm. "Would you care to find out?" He had to know for sure this was what she wanted before he proceeded. While he would willingly dally with anyone, he would never take something that wasn't freely offered.

"Certainly. I believe it's my duty to make sure everyone does their fair share." Opening her mouth, she kissed him, taking her time before she brought her head back.

Well that was all the invitation he needed. C'jex returned her kiss and pouted a bit when she pulled away. Reaching up, he tugged on her arms a bit, trying to pull her down to his lap. "Mmm, now how have I _not_ proven my skills to you before?" He murmured, reaching up to cup her face and pull her back to his eager lips.

"I was asking myself that same question," she replied before succumbing to his amorous attentions. Qorri settled herself onto him, giving the bluerider access.

He grinned against her mouth as it captured hers with abandon. His hands quickly found something to occupy them as they tugged on the laces of her shift until he had full access to what he sought.

"Here or there?" He inquired inclining his head towards the bed across the room even as he tugged her clothes free from her arms and felt himself growing with a need to be one with her. His fingers slipped to the laces at his own breeches, ready to free himself so the fun could continue.
