Teseada

**Not long now**

}:How long?:{ Eirath's eyes shone, bright at the thought of his new weyr.

L'fael laughed and patted his brown's hide. The small dragon hopped up in the air in his excitement, and took a glide around to take in his new surroundings. They had just made a transfer to Dragonsfall, after impressing only two turns ago at Dolphin's Cove. L'fael just had to get his bearings and they could go to their new home. Now where exactly did that woman say? All the nervousness of being in a new place settled into his stomach. Seeing a young woman walking close by, he shyly called, "miss...uh?"

Teseada turned, bringing her knots into view as she studied the speaker.
Young, but perhaps not that young by his appearance, and his knots indicated Dolphin Cove. "Can I help you?" she asked.

Seeing her knots, he went tounge-tied. "I uh...I...I'm a bit lost...my
weyr." He held up the small map the Headwoman's assistant had drawn for
him.

"I see," Teseada held out her hand, hoping he'd let her look properly.

Still feeling foolish, L'fael handed over his map.

Teseada turned it, he'd had it upside down and there was no need to point
that fact out. "The dining cavern is here," she said pointing to it on the map. "Just behind us."

He blushed when she turned the map right side up. Trust him to look the fool only a few minutes into his new home. Trying not to melt into a puddle at her feet, he nodded at her words and leaned closer.

"And you want to go up there, to the mid level, there's a stairway inside
the dining cavern, and follow the corridor around to the left until you get to the junction, then turn left again. It's the second weyr along from there."

He nodded, not taking much of what she said in, hoping his nervousness
didn't play all over his face. "Junction?" He looked at the map, then back to her. Directions had never been his strong suite.

"Here," she said pointing to a clear t-junction on the map. "Those are
staff weyrs, with no access to a ledge," a finger ran down the route.
"These are weyrs for riders here."

Eirath could feel his rider's confusion. He floated over to land just
behind the two, flapping his pale brown, almost dun coloured wings before
telling Onnyth, }:Mine is just getting more and more confused. Is there
anyway your's can show him the way? He's really getting flustered.:{

}:I could show you to the ledge,:{ offered the gold after a moment, }:But
your rider will have to lean to find the way without you.:{

}:He's just getting flustered. Pretty girls do that to him:{ Eirath took flight again, going to the ledge Onnyth directed him to.

**Onnyth?** Teseada turned to see her gold obviously communicating with the brown. "I think she took matters into her own hands."

"Ah, yes Eirath has just landed on our weyr ledge. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get to him." He flashed the weyrwoman a nervous smile.

"If you follow those directions," she traced them again on the map with a
finger. "You'll be up there in no time."

"Ah yes..right." It was hard to think with a pretty girl like her so close to him. He hoped she couldn't see that he was starting to sweat a bit.

"Does that make sense?" Teseada asked.

He nodded, even though he knew it would take awhile to find his weyr. But he had looked the fool long enough in front of one of the weyrwomen.

}:It's okay, I'll help you:{

**What, look foolish? Or get to the weyr?**
