Az'uka and made his way down to the Lower caverns and was sitting down with a warm mug of Klah, firmly secured between his hands. The smell of the warm liquid was some what intoxicating as he sat there staring out at the Weyrbowl. The weather was overcast, no good for flying, well not that he wasn't up for a challenge, but getting Nilzuth up was another story. The blue dragon hand promptly decided _he_ was going to sleep until the clouds cleared. He took a sip of the Klah at lest it's warm he thought, looking at the weather, maybe it would rain.
"A mark for them?" asked Hanni as she walked past the man. Here was a rider that she did not recognize.
He'd been half daydreaming and was caught a little off guard at the question. "Pardon?" He inquired after the question, not sure if it had been aimed at him or not. He wasn't trying to be rude as he suddenly looked up, brought back to reality as it where.
"Your thoughts," she said. "A mark for them, you were lost /between/ so they must have been good."
Az'uka gave a chuckle and smiled upwards at the young green rider. "Just debating the weather really, nothing worth forking over a mark for, but if you wanted to sit and chat I'd be more than happy to do that to." He said in friendly and upbeat tone. "Sorry for being so far /between/ there."
"That's okay," replied Hanni as she smoothed down her skirt before taking a seat. With drills over with for the day, she'd decided that skirts were definitely appealing. She smiled at the tall bluerider, her braid swinging over her shoulder as she looked up at him. "You're new here, aren't you?"
Getting used to hearing that question from so many of the various Weyrfolk around Dragons Fall Weyr Az'uka simply smiled. "New enough to still be catching up on names and faces" He half joked, looking across at her, some part of his subconscious mind noted the skirt and how well it suited her, he nearly shook his head to get rid of the thought, but let it stay. "Well I transferred in form Far Island Weyr late last month." It was sort of an explanation for being new and an apology for not knowing everyone.
"Hmmm.... Anyone taken it upon themselves to show you around yet?" she asked teasingly. "There are quite a few sites to see here. I know I appreciated the effort people made when I first got here."
He though about it, true to be told he hadn't had all that much time yet, settling in had proven to be interesting enough, his knowledge of the Weyr extended from his weyr to the Weyrbowl and the bathing chambers but that was about it, so far. "Not really, it seems I've been a bit busy for all that." He raised an eyebrow along with his reply catching the teasing tone and trying not to tease back. The overcast weather outside seemed to be holding off and with nothing to do for at lest a few candlemarks Az'uka had time to spare.
"Not too busy for a tour I hope. There are plenty of places I can recommend that you learn about." Hanni's face was semi-serious, but her tone was light. "Where people's weyrs are, the quickest ways to them..."
"I'd be honoured" He told her, keeping a gentle tone. Sitting between his hands the Klah had finally gone cold; there was clearly no point in drinking it now. "I guess I forgot to mention, I'm Az'uka." He held out hand to shake, an old tradition, but one he believed still held some merit.
Hanni took his hand, giving it a quick shake. "Hanni, Samdrath's rider."
"Nilzuth is my partner in crime" He joked, it was true that both he and the largish blue dragon had gotten in more than the usual about of trouble here and there, but sometimes that was all part of the fun, well as far as they where concerned.
"Maybe one day soon I'll get to know the pair of you better," suggested Hanni.
He smiled at her suggestion; it had been a while since he'd gotten the chance to know anyone on an intimate level. The idea trilled him inside and Nilzuth work long enough to make one comment,}: _So_ you've picked a green for us?:{
** I thought that was your job** he teased the snoozing dragon.
"I believe that would be an occasion worth celebrating" He intoned back, even flirting a little "It might happen sooner than you think," she said, rising to her feet. "I think the most important place that you should know about should be first."
He rose to his feet, pushing the cold cup of Klah across the table, to one side where someone would clean it up later. Az'uka fingers brushed the rim of the mug as he left it there. "Very well, lead on" where he words that crossed his lips as he moved over beside her.
