Zanen smiled as he saw a familiar face. "E'rae!"

The bluerider stopped in his tracks in the Dining Cavern and turned around. Locating the source of the noise, he was surprised to see the holder. Hadn't he met him at Garnet Valley? Walking over, he extended a hand. "What are you doing here eh?"

"I brought a friend to the Weyr and thought I would spend a little time here, catching up with other friends." It was nice to be somewhere different after spending such a long time in Garnet Valley, and the Weyr was about as different as you could get.

"Oh yeah? Well maybe we could do something sometime. You ever flew?" E'rae couldn't talk Jh'slaen into hunting anymore so this was a boon.

Zanen nodded. "I've flown a few times."

"Ever been to the snow mountains far south of here?" E'rae knew it was certainly far different from anything close by. Not much game to offer, but they were beautiful.

"The Western Barrier Range? Or the mountains at the edge of the world?" Technically the world had no edge, but it still seemed like a fitting description.

"The ones far far south.. Sort of like the southern snowy wastes." E'rae knew the climate was harsh, but he enjoyed forays there when he got a chance.

"No, I haven't been that far south. I like to travel where it's a bit warmer."

"Aye well you can't stay long, but you can't beat it." E'rae smiled. "What say I see you tomorrow?"

"Sounds good." Zanen smiled. This was what he loved, traveling the world and seeing the wonderful sights it held.

"I'll meet you down in the Bowl then after morning meal." The bluerider had to hurry to get to a wing meeting, but he waved farewell.
