Sorsha awoke naked in her bed, Ri'len's large arms surrounding her, and she sighed contently. She'd finally faced her fears of hurting Roseth and given herself to her husband last night. Roseth had been with her the whole time, encouraging her, happy for her, not at all scared or confused. It had been strange with Roseth in her mind while she was with Ri'len, but it had been what she'd needed to get past the trauma that had made her so afraid of being close to him. She gave the spot of his forearm she could reach with her mouth little kisses in hopes of waking him.
He stirred at the touch of her lips against him and it wasn't along before he was awake fully. His arms tightened around her and he smiled down. "Good morning." Ri'len murmured, his voice tinged with contentment. A lot of frustration had been released when she had finally given herself to him and the young man found himself a lot more relaxed than he had been in quite some time. "Sleep well?"
"Yes." She certainly had. No more keeping apart in the bed, no more worry as she fell asleep.
"Good. I was afraid I might have kept you up too late." Ri'len leaned over to nibble lightly upon her ear. It had been so long since they could be intimate and he was taking all the advantage he could get.
Sorsha giggled quietly, enjoying the tickling bites. "I'm sure I'll be tired later, but it was worth it. And maybe we'll just have to turn in early tonight to catch up." Of course, they might become distracted later, but that wasn't really a bad thing.
"I'm all for turning in early." It merely meant more time together for the two of them, even if it was just to hold her. Of course, Ri'len wasn't going to complain if that led to other things. "I suppose we should get up, hm?"
"We could." Sorsha said, turning so that she faced Ri'len. She started tracing the lines of muscles across his chest with her fingers, she didn't really want to get up yet.
"You're not helping my motivation." Ri'len half closed his eyes and gazed down at Sorsha with a smile upon his face. "Not that I really mind."
Sorsha grinned, she had forgotten how much she loved being with him like this, just the two of them with their bodies intertwined. "You're the one that's distracting me, being all naked and all. How's a girl supposed to remember the world when you're like this?"
"You're a bad influence." Ri'len muttered. He caught her hand and pulled her to him to cover her mouth with a kiss. "I'm afraid we've not much time. The day awaits, but the night is ours."
She thought of all the work they had to do today and suddenly Roseth's voice interrupted. }: Be with Ri'len. He makes you feel good.:{ And the images and feelings from the night before came into her mind and made her shudder slightly.
"Roseth thinks we should stay in bed today." Sorsha relayed as she kissed him again and let her kisses trail down towards his neck.
"Believe me, if we could, I would most definitely be all for it." Ri'len leaned back with a sigh at the touch of her against his skin. "But it's not a rest day and, unfortunately, we have responsibilities to attend to."
Sorsha sighed and sat up. She realized that while Roseth might understand her and Ri'len staying in bed all day, the Weyrlingmaster would not. "All right, but tonight we're coming straight back to bed."
"I'm certainly not going to argue with that." Ri'len grinned. He sat up as well, but paused long enough to kiss her on the nose before he stood. "Come come, the sooner we get things done, the faster the day will fly by, right?"
"You can tell yourself that but I don't think it will." Sorsha watched him walk to the bathroom and sighed again. "We could come back here at lunch. Just for a few minutes." she suggested hopefully.
"Perhaps eat on the way?" Ri'len's laughter tinged his voice as he called back the suggestion.
Sorsha wandered to the dresser and found some suitable clothes for the day but didn't put them on since she wanted to rinse off first. "I can eat fast."
"You know, usually they say men are the insatiable ones." Ri'len's voice echoed back. "I think you're an exception."
"I'm just making up for lost time." she replied lightly, "Time I foolishly wasted with my fear. I'm not going to waste any more time."
"Well then, I'll be sure not to waste lunch time."
