"Nice, very smooth. Oh yes, that is just what we've been hoping for. Not much buildup of tissues which is good." was all the bronzerider could hear as the healers looked at his healing threadscores. It sounded rather odd to him, but he just hoped that it meant he could venture outside sooner rather than later. He had been in the infirmary for over a month now as his back and other places healed.

Most of his eyesight had come back and it looked like he should be able to join a fighting wing when he turned sixteen. His main desire was to be able to see and touch his dragon. He had never thought that it would be this hard to not be with his bronze all the time. He kind of understood what losing Hayrieth might feel like and hoped he would never have to go through that.

"Can I go see my dragon?" he asked as they let him sit up. It was still rather difficult to sit up, but he knew he had to get his body moving as much as possible to reduce any permanent stiffness that might occur.

"For a short time only. We don't want to get an infection, now do we?" the healer said as he gave the bronzerider a look that said he meant a _short_ amount of time.

"No. Can I go now?" C'lor asked impatient to be off.

}:Are you coming?:{ the bronze asked just as impatiently.

**Yes.** he replied as the healer nodded and gestured for him to be off. He walked out noticing how the stiffness of his joints seemed to ease the longer he was walking. That was a good sign apparently.

}: I am waiting for you right outside.:{ Hayreith replied his tone full of excitement.

**I know.** C'lor said and as he reached the door it wouldn't open. He tried and tried to open the door, but it was stuck. He turned to find a healer, but they were all gone. There was no one there but him. He was separated from his dragon forever and he didn't understand why.

}:C'lor? C'lor! Wake up!:{ the bronze said concerned for his rider's screaming his name out in his mind as if he was having some kind of nightmare.

Suddenly, the bronzerider was aware that he was back in his bed being stared at by everyone around him. He grinned sheepishly and said, "It feels like forever since I've seen my bronze."

"I know what you mean, C'lor." Hekuric replied sadly. The healer was once a bluerider who had lost his dragon during the threadfall accident. He was still in the infirmary being treated for threadscores and C'lor wasn't sure if the rider had accepted that his dragon was gone.

"I know you do, my friend." the bronzerider replied with a sad smile. He hoped that he would be able to see Hayreith soon. His friends had been kind enough to keep an eye on the bronze, but it just wasn't the same.
