Aidiata smiled as she looked at her green. Ambilyth was stretching her wings. Adiata had just finished washing and oiling her dragon. She dropped her oiling rag and pushed her hair back. She had managed to get it into a thick messy braid.

She glanced over and saw an old friend as he wandered out. He had yet to impress. Mikialu glanced over and stopped. He didn't act as if he reconized her at first and she sighed and looked back to her dragon.

Mikialu was anything but happy to see her. He had come to hate her. She had impressed when he had not. She was happy with her green and he was still a candidate. They had all come here. Didn't the dragons say they were all good candidates.

He shook his head as he rushed past her. He didn't look at her again. He didn't want to see the smile on her face as she looked at her dragon. He didn't want to see that faraway look in her eyes as she spoke to lovely green. His heart couldn't take it. He had loved her once. Now he hated her and her happiness.

Aidiata didn't understand what had happened to her friends. They had found other friends here and forgotten her. Right before the hatching that had given her Ambilyth they had started talking again. Then had come hatching and they had walked away alone and she hadn't. Then they had not spoken to her again. She missed them.

Amnilyth saw the sadness in her eyes and sent her love. Aidiata turned her eyes form her lost friend and smiled at her dragon again. The turn was coming to an end and that meant a new turn. She was going to looked to the future rather than worry about the past.

Mikialu looked back at her one last time and seethed. He watched as she carefully climbed onto her green and was making the flight back to her weyr. He would have to think of a way to get back at her. He wasn't sure how but he wanted her to be hurt and sad. He just didn't know how.
