Talryne

Talryne

U'kaiah's eyes opened slowly and began to focus on the ceiling of the Flight Room. It was starting to become a familiar sight. Since he had recovered from his injuries, and since Kalamath had lost his special favorite to Dolphin Cover Weyr, the bronze had been chasing practically every green that took to the sky. His rider certainly didn't mind. The dark hair which lay over his shoulder and chest told him that at least this time it was a female greenrider! Her face was turned away, and he couldn't quite remember what her face looked like - just that whoever it was seemed to be deliciously experienced.

The woman shifted against him, sliding one leg between U'kaiah's and snuggling her face into his shoulder without opening her eyes. She made a sleepy, contented noise and smiled. "I don't have to move yet, do I?"

"Only if you want to," U'kaiah said contentedly. He still couldn't see her face, but her body was silky and warm. The bronzerider sighed and closed his eyes again, thoroughly relaxed. Shards he loved mating flights! Long, slender fingers slid over his stomach, tracing lazy circles over his skin. "I might want to," she replied in a husky voice. "Once I find the energy..." The corners of his lips curved into a smile. Ah, flight lust. A frustration to the losers, but oh so sweet for the winners! "You keep moving your fingers like that and I just might help you find the energy."

Talryne shifted closer, her hair providing a curtain for her face as she let her lips graze his chest. She had been _so_ well behaved for the past month that it was a relief to be able to let go and blame it on the flight lust.
She didn't even care _who_ the man stretched out next to her was, as long as he was willing to rise to the challenge. "It seems you found the energy," he whispered in a deep, throaty voice. His hand reached up to run his fingers through the dark, luxurious hair. "What's your name?" He asked as his fingertips traced the small of her back and along her side.

She laughed and shook her hair back, her smile widening when she saw just who she had stretched out under her oh-so friendly hands. "Am I really so forgettable, Wingleader?" she asked, giving him a teasing pout. "Talryne?" U'kaiah's eyes widened in surprise as he looked at the greenrider face, now even more beautiful as she lay half across him.
Chuckling, he shook his head. "Oh shards, Abrei is gonna _kill_ me."

One eyebrow swept up as Talryne traced the line of his jaw with her lips.
She kissed her way up to his ear, breathing into it as her other hand returned to his chest. "Well, then... I suppose we can just not tell her.
And you're not supposed to bring up a woman's relatives at a sensitive time like this. Whatever you've been told, I can assure you that it is _not_ a turn on." "Shards but you are," he groaned as his fingers again entangled themselves in her hair. "I think she could excuse a flight, but I'm pretty sure she would find the things I want to do to you right now worthy of a swift kick to the crotch."

Talryne pulled back suddenly, both eyebrows up now as she gave him an amused look. "Well, I suppose if the poor bronzerider is too frightened of the scary healer, I can find someone else to do things to me..." "Well, I did promise her I wouldn't let you go wild in the Weyr," he said with a smile as he reached both hands to her face. "I suppose I'd better keep you caged safely in here with me." The bronzerider brought her lips to his hungrily. She could be trouble, but could tell that he rather liked her kind of trouble.

She had every intention of demanding to know why U'kaiah had been discussing her activities with Abrei. Later. Maybe _much_ later, if the bronzerider's enthusiasm was any indication. For the time being she simply enjoyed the feeling of being touched, parting her lips for him and chasing his tongue into his mouth with an aggression that was part passion and part the sure knowledge of _exactly_ what she wanted. U'kaiah needed very little encouragement as he welcomed her into his mouth, and battled her back into her own as his hands roved through her hair, down her back, along her sides. He wanted all of her, and he intended to be very thorough. The bronzerider had admired her in his office, but for the sake of his friendship with Abrei he had told himself that she was off limits.
The very fact that she was forbidden made her intoxicating, and held the potential of being dangerously addicting. But the way she was making him feel...

And she was obviously determined to make him feel _very_ good. It was also obvious that his earlier assessment of her experience had not been wrong.
She tormented him gleefully and with great enthusiasm, refusing to give him the upper hand in anything unless he fought for it and claimed it. He fought hard and ruled over what he had claimed like a tyrant, only to gleefully retreat and let her usurp his authority. They pushed each other further, neither wanting to be the first to give in. In the end it was impossible to tell who was the victor, but certainly neither was the loser, as U'kaiah rested his head on her back and rocked them both back on his knees, wondering just when and how it was that they had ended up on the floor.

Talryne stretched against him with a pleased sound that was almost a purr.
"If you were trying to keep me from going wild, you failed..." He chuckled breathlessly as he wrapped his arms around her and brought his chin to rest on her shoulder. "Yes, but I did succeed in keeping you caged." U'kaiah turned his head as he tried to steady his breathing, taking long deep breaths and drinking in the smell of her. "I have to say, I think you brought the wild side out in me a bit as well."

"I noticed," she replied lazily, relaxing against his body. She was not a short woman, but U'kaiah was tall enough to let her fit comfortably against him. "I'm tempted to ask if we can do it again, but I might need another nap first. Or at least time to relearn how to breathe..." He liked all her suggestions. "In which case, we better move back onto the bed. My feet are starting to fall asleep."

Talryne made it to her feet and turned to offer a hand to U'kaiah. "Come on, bronzerider. I don't want to break you!" She seemed perfectly comfortable with the fact that she was standing over him clad in little more than a battered silver bracelet and her hair. There had been a time when Talryne's craftbred sensibilities had given her trouble with the open nature of the Weyr, but that time was obviously long gone. "Are you implying, my dear greenrider, that you _can_ break me?" U'kaiah asked with a smile that challenged, almost begging, her to try.

She was tired, sore, and not entirely sure how long her knees were going to keep her up for. But Talryne had _never_ backed down from a challenge in her life--not even when it was the smart thing to do. Bracing her hands on her hips, she stared down at him with an amused smile and a glint in her eyes.
"In ways you can only imagine, bronzerider." "Fantastic. I have a wonderful imagination." He sighed as he looked up at her admiringly. "But I am an old man and just barely recovered my health.
Why don't we lay down for a moment before you ruin me for life."

Talryne laughed and flopped back onto the bed, letting him find his own way there. "All right, old man... I promise to go easy on you... this time."
Talryne kept to herself the fact that she didn't intend for there to _be_ a next time--not unless they ended up in the flight room together again.
U'kaiah was skillful and energetic... and her Wingleader. That had been right at the top of her list of things not to do in her new home. Which was a pity, Talryne admitted as she watched him climb to his feet. But there were other men in the Weyr... she'd just need to find one.
