Leith touched down, laden with all manner of equipment, baggage, food, and animal parts. The blue had smelled the salvaged meat, hide, and bones. He wasn't hungry, though, since he had eaten the previous day. }:There were more this time:{

**Aye that there were, but we were stealthy** E'rae's voice held a tinge of satisfaction. He was proud of their haul and he was hoping he could turn a profit off of it if those traders were in. Before he dismounted, he patted his blue on the shoulder.

Saradath landed beside the blue and Jh'slaen sighed with pleasure. Back home, in the safe predictability of the Weyr. He dismounted and started releasing his dragon's cargo. She didn't mind the time away from the Weyr, not the wild animals, nor even that her rider was all at sea in the unfamiliar setting. She had quite enjoyed herself.

Getting down, E'rae carefully began to disattach the carisaks and bundles that contained his catch and the leftover supplies and tools. He was wondering if the traders or the tanners would give him a better price for them. "So Jh'slaen, what do you plan to do now?" He smiled inwardly. The greenrider had turned out not to be too bad at hunting.

"Have the longest wash on record then get some sleep in my nice, comfortable bed. What about> you?"

"I suppose that wash bit does sound good. Then I plan to do a little whittling.." E'rae loved peace and quiet. Oftentimes, the bluerider could be found simply sitting on his ledge, carving something or drawing something simple.

"Whittling?" This time, at least, Jh'slaen understood what the task entailed, but it didn't sound very exciting. "Is that what you mostly do in the evenings?"

"That, mending harnesses, beadwork on jackets and pants, and keeping my bow well strung. I sharpen my knives and sometimes Leith and I go riding.." He shrugged. He didn't have much of a life, but he didn't care about being social.

That all underscored why they were so very different, Jh'slaen thought. His own evenings might be spent more quietly than some, but handskills and crafts were not his thing. "I like to read, but spending some time down in the dining cavern is good, too. Not tonight though. My very comfortable bed is calling me!"

"Thanks for coming along. It was fun. Now off with you." E'rae chuckled to himself as he gathered up his things and began to get organized.
