"Wingleader," said the greenrider formally as she passed by the bronzerider. "Nice to see you again."
U'kaiah stopped to look at the young woman addressing him. At first he couldn't place where he knew her from, but a smile soon spread across his face. "Well, Hanni. It's been a while since I saw you last."
"It has been a while, hasn't it sir." She flashed him a grin, trusting that he'd remember their last encounter. Now a wingrider, she had the freedom to repeat it, if they both so desired.
"A month at least." He smiled, noticing her change in knots. "And it seems like it has been an eventful month for us both! You are in D'wrayt's wing?"
"Yes sir," she replied with a nod. "A full fledged rider at last."
"Congratulations," he smiled. "And how do you like being rider, Hanni?"
"Oh I like it, I like it very much," she said. "So much to see and do now."
"They aren't keeping you _too_ busy, I hope." The flirtatious tone was natural, and only slightly unintentional.
"My days are busy..." She let her voice trail off a little, "But evenings without chores are wonderful."
"I can imagine," he replied, eyebrows raised. "And what do you do with all this free time you have on your hands?"
"I like to spend time with friends old and new, getting to know them better." The statement was definitely up for being interpreted in more than one way. She hoped that U'kaiah would get her meaning. After all, a flight was one thing, but there were advantages to taking things slowly when getting to know people.
"Yes," U'kaiah nodded slowly. There was no mistaking the young riders meaning. "Yes, friendships are a valuable thing. You need to take your time with them. There is so much of a person's... character... to explore."
"Exactly my point, they said a team works better that knows each other inside out. And there are so many ways to get to know people." A smile crossed her lips. "Many different ways."
The bronzerider leaned against the wall, his arms crossed loosely across his chest. "Do you know all the ways?"
"I have to admit I don't, but they tell me that a person can learn pretty quickly, with a good teacher that is," she countered. She moved to lean against the wall, next to him. "Perhaps you know some I don't?"
He nodded thoughtfully. "It's possible. I have been promoting teamwork for a while now."
"Perhaps you could explain it to me then?" She smiled.
"Oh, but I'm not _your_ wingleader," he teased. "Are you sure I'm qualified to teach you?"
"I'm sure you are 'qualified'," she said, reaching out to run a finger lightly down his chest, "very qualified."
The bronzerider took her hand from his chest and brought it to his lips, gently kissing her palm and wrist. "I think we could work on your teamwork a bit then, if you aren't too busy with your new duties."
"Never to busy for a wingleader," she said softly.
He leaned in closer to lightly nip at her ear as he asked, "And are you _only_ free evenings?"
"Anytime for a wingleader," she repeated.
"Well, I'm not one to put off for later something that could be done right away."
"Then perhaps you could demonstrate some of your tactics for temawork to me?" "I'm always willing to demonstrate my tactics," he grinned. "Your weyr or mine?"
"Mine's closer," she said softly. "Mine has a private bathing pool."
"Well in that case..."
