Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 8, day 5 of Turn 3
As he oiled his riding straps D'cal distracted himself by singing an old sea song. It was habit. He could not work without singing, whistling, or at the very least humming along with the rhythm of the task. Now that he had his own weyr, he could sing as loud as he wished, and only passers by should be able to hear.
He broke off his song when he heard a knock on the door. Who could it be at this hour? Could it be possible he had been too loud? He set down the oily rag and picked up a clean one to wipe his hands off. He threw a shirt on over his shoulders, but didn't bother with the buttons as he walked over to the door.
When he answered it, he found himself looking down into the bright blue, smiling eyes of Weyrbred Kisdra, a lovely young greenrider who had graduated in the same class he had. "Congratulations."
"For what?" he asked, rather confussed at finding the young woman at his door. They had always been friendly, but he would not have expected a visit from her. "Uh... do you want to come in?"
She her smile deepened until her dimples showed. "Sure."
D'cal stepped aside as she brushed past him, a sweet fragrance waffing up to tickle his nose. He scanned his small quarters. Luckily he was neat by nature. "Please, have a seat. I know my room doesn't look like much yet. I'm sure yours looks much nicer."
"It might," she teased as she reclined back on his couch. "But I'm sure yours will look just as nice when you're through with it." She paused for a moment, watching him. "It's a great feeling, isn't it? To be graduated to senior. Have you been enjoying the bit of freedom?"
"Well, I have certainly liked having my own place. It's kind of hard to get used to after living in barracks with people so long..." He knew that was not quite what she had meant. Swallowing hard he said in a rush, "I have been busy in the infirmary with my friend, and I also have been seeing to her dragon. I haven't had time for much else."
"I see." Her eyes sparkled with mischief. "But if you _did_ have time for other things, would you take advantage of it?"
"Well," he said with voice cracking ever so slightly, "it _has_ been a long time since I had so much freedom, and, uh..."
Kisdra's smile turned a bit more coquettish. "You didn't answer my question, D'cal."
The weyrling studied her for a moment. She was pretty, and they got along well in lessons. Of course, it had always seemed that Kisdra got along well with all the boys. But after everything he said to Dyaera, how could he? Then again, it was a Weyr, and it was time he got used to it. Who knows, maybe Dyaera was right... "Well, I am guessing that _you_ like to take advantage of it. But why are you interested in _me_?"
"Well, why not?" She tilted her head coyly to the side. "You're incredibly good-looking, you know."
"_Incredibly_? All right, you're teasing now," he said with a smile, the flirtatious side of him beginning to win out.
She shook her head. "Nope. Not teasing." Then the look in her eyes grew sly. "Well... maybe just a _little_. But that's just because I really haven't seen enough to be fully...truthful."
"You don't look at the boys in the bathing cavern?" The look in her eyes as she gazed into his was beginning to have an effect on him. He was feeling drawn to her, and was starting to imagine all the things he had not yet seen on her.
She grinned at him. "It's not the same, D'cal. I'm sure you've seen some of the girls...but haven't really _seen_ them..."
D'cal took a deep breath. Before this courage could fail him he said, "Well, maybe you can show me what I've been missing."
That was all the invitation she needed. Kisdra shifted, bringing one hand up to cup one side of his face as she leaned in, her lips pressing against his, silently waiting for him to allow her in.
He felt his body respond with a vengeance as he willing allowed her in with great enthusiasm. D'cal was surprised at just how much he had missed what he had ignored missing. His hands slipped to her waist as he pulled her towards him. He had forgot how sharding _good_ a woman could feel.
As he began to kiss her with more fervor, she responded in kind, her hands moving down his back to pull his shirt out of the waistband. Her fingers slid beneath the hem and slowly, teasingly, began to dance up his spine. Realizing that he was pulling her closer, she shifted, moving so she could straddle his lap.
A groan escaped D'cal as she shifted against him. It had been too _sharding_ long! He switched from undressing Kisdra with his eyes to with his hands, exploring every inch of skin he exposed along the way. He began to wonder if his and Dyaera's positions had been switched, could he have waited for her to finish weyrlinghood with such sweet and willing partners so near at hand?
Hearing his groan, a grin flitted across her lips as she slid her mouth from his down to his throat, her fingers nimbly unbuttoning his shirt. To tease him further, she rubbed herself slowly against him - and moaned as he responded in kind.
D'cal couldn't take much more teasing. He carried them both down to the floor and allowed himself to find release in her arms. As his mind cleared of the lust induced fog, D'cal suddenly felt very self-concious.
Kisdra obviously knew what she was doing, and he had felt it was so rushed. He felt a bit like a disappointment. "I'm so sorry. It was too fast..."
She rolled over to look at him, her eyes sparkling teasingly. "After staying celibate for so long, how can I blame you?" She bent her head to trail kisses across his shoulder. "And besides, we have the rest of the evening to go as fast," she lightly nipped him, "or as slow as we want."
The fact that she seemed so interested in the next time gave D'cal a much needed confidence boost. "Well, what say we find some place a bit more comfortable than my floor and get started on taking our time?"
"I think," she murmured in-between kisses and light nipping, "that that's a good idea."
