Did we or did we not?

Description: Sh'vair and Kustaava wake up together, but just how they got there is a bit of a mystery...
Location: River Bluff Weyr
Date: month 3, day 14 of Turn 4

"Oh shards," Sh'vair groaned, throwing an arm over his aching eyes.
"What in Faranth's name did we _do_?" The last thing he could remember was stumbling down the hall towards Kustaava's weyr with two more wineskins in hand. And then after that it all got fuzzy. Really fuzzy.
In fact, the memory just wasn't there...

Ava whimppered. Her head hurt, her mouth tasted like she's bitten into a trundlebug and she felt like throwin up.

Sh'vair sat up slowly, groaning as the effort just seemed to make his headache worse. Well, he was in his bed, and there was Ava curled up and groaning beside him. He was still wearing his boots in bed, which his mother would _never_ have approved of! And the same pants from the day before. But he was noticabaly lacking a shirt... "Where's my shirt?"

Ava made a quick inventory. She was wearing underclothes and not much more. She still had socks on though. "Probably in same place than my dress. Shards. What happened?" she replied and asked. After the failed attempt to have sex, they had started to drink. Some time between first and second skin, she had lost her memory.

"Oh shards, I don't know," he moaned, turning over to look at her. "Why aren't you wearing any clothes?"

"Dunno," Ava grunted and looked around for bucket or anything to throw up into!

"Did we... do it?" Sh'vair asked hopefully.

"I can't remember. I have a hazy recollection that we decided to try. But I can't remember if actually did it," Kustaava replied.

"Well, how can we know if we did it or not?" He remembered at first it wasn't working. Shards, that was the whole reason for the drinking! Did it work or not?

"I have no idea," Ava admitted. Only thing she was sure was the awful headache and the need to vomit.

"Shards, it doesn't matter," Sh'vair groaned, covering his eyes with his arm once more. "What good is it if I ca't _remember_ it?"

"Yeah," Ava grunted. She found a washbasin. Well, it just had to serve. She started retching.

Sh'vair's face wrinkled in disgust. That was the basin he washed his _face_ in! Now it was going to smell like vomit! He was never going to wash his face in that again! "Are you all right?"

"No, I feel terrible. I shouldn't be drinking, alchol doesn't go well with me. I always get a bad hangover," Ava said with miserable voice.

He didn't know if alcohol sat with him well or not... "I have a headache. Is it the same thing?"

"Lucky you, I wish I had _only_ headache," Ava complained.

"Well, next time we try again we won't use alcohol," Sh'vair promised. "At least not for you."

"Good," Kustaava grunted and cover her eyes with her arm. Maybe blocking the light from her eyes would help with the headache.

"Do you think you'll feel better soon...?" The sooner he could get it over with the better!

"I don't know," Kustaava grunted. **Great, now he wants!**

"Not today?" The answer to that question seemed self-explanitory, but shards, he was just so tired of that nervous feeling he got whenever he thought about... doing that... with a girl...

"Maybe at the afternoon, I can't say yet," Ava said.

He could wait that long at least. "Is there anything I can get you to help you feel better?"

"Klah, very strong klah," she asked.

"Just let me find my shirt..." And Ava's dress. Or wait, if she was half naked, he was already half there. That was a good start.

Ava curled back to bed, keeping the basin near, just in case.
