Faran looked up from his paperwork to see Lymria's head poke through the door frame.
"Lymria come right in and have a seat. What can I do for you?" He asked politely. "Hello, Faran. Want to talk with you for a moment,"
Lymria greeted with a smile. "Alright. What about?" He put down the paper he was grading and looked at her with rapt attention.
"About one of my fosterlings," Lymria replied and pulled herself a chair to sit down to. "What about? Tograny hasn't been acting up in class as far as I could tell and the other are too young to be in classes yet if I remember correctly." Faran asked, slightly concerned. He knew that many children had begun to act up since the move to Amber Hills, but he felt he'd kept a good handle on what happened in and out of class.
"Well, he might behave during the class but outside, he is getting into fights with local boys," Lymria told him, sounding like concerned mother. "I hope its no thim who's starting them." Faran said slightly shocked. Tograny was such a good kid, why would anyone want to hurt him.
"I don't know. He's not telling me. I know he's a good kid, but he also lost all of his family and he is hurting inside. I kind of hoped you would have noticed someting, or he had talked to you." "He hasn't come to me. Though I've made sure I'm available to all the children." Faran shook his head.
"This is the first I've heard of it from anyone. So he's either not a very good fight or they gang up on him, because I haven't seen any bruises or heard any complaints from other parents. Should I pull him aside tomorrow and see if I can get anythin gout of him?"
"If you could, please?" Lymria asked. "I think a man is better in handling this kind of matter," she continued. "Alright I'll see what I can dig up. Thanks for coming to me. We'll sort this whole thing out.
"Thank you, I appreaciate your help," Lymria said with her most beautiful smile. Faran's heart skipped a beat. Had she always been that beautiful? He stood to get the door for her. "Would you like to have dinner sometime? I'm sure my sister wouldn't mind watching the children." He asked her spontaniously, his heart beating so loud he was sure she could hear it.
Lymria's eyebrown's rose. Well, the harper wasn't a bad catch. "I might, if you can arrange the babysitter, " she replied. Faran grinned from ear to ear. "That I can handle. Saria's good with kids. So how about tomorrow evening? I'll take care of everything all you have to do is show up." He hoped that wasn't to quick.
"That sounds great. Where and when?" she agreed and asked. "I'll stop by your place around half past the sixth candlemark tomorrow evening? I'll bring Saria with me so we can leave after you explain what needs explaining." Faran couldn't stop grinning. "I'll be waiting," Lymria promised and replied to his grin with a smile of her own. She reminded to herself not to appear too eager. The idea was make them to chase you. "Great." Faran grinned and led her out.
