Description: D'wrayt talks with Teseada to make sure she was settling into the Queen's Wing.
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 2, day 9 of Turn 4
D'wrayt was watching the Queen's wing as the practiced an aerial drill.
**What do you think of young Onnyth?** he asked Treadoryth.
}:She flies well. They will make a fine Weyrwoman in time. Mnaiath is a good teacher.:{ the bronze replied.
**That she is. What would you say to a swim later?** D'wrayt asked thinking of taking a certain healer to the weyrlake as the water would help ease some of the baby weight for a little while at least.
}:I would not object. They are landing.:{ Treadoryth said reminding his rider what they had come for.
**Then we will see what she says later.** D'wrayt replied as he waved to the Weywoman and approached Teseada as she dismounted.
"Sir," greeted the youngwoman formally as the Weyrleader approached.
"Goldrider Teseada. Onnyth is looking well. Are you adjusting well to the wing?" he asked giving the young gold a once over out of habit as he would have done as Weyrlingmaster.
"Yes sir. Drills don't change at all," she laughed. "I don't know what I thought it would be like, even with my father to tell me."
"I think everyone feels like that. I know I did."
"It's when I actually get the chance to go out there for real, which I think will be the next fall."
"You'll do fine, I'm sure."
"I really hope so, I'd hate to let anyone down. My Da said to me it's a big jump form weyrlinghood to the wings, and then on again to flying a fall."
"I'm positive you'll do just fine. You have two experienced goldriders to make sure you know what you're doing. Do let me know if you need anything at all. My door is always open. Have a good day, Teseada." D'wrayt replied as he saw a wingrider that he needed to speak with coming his way.
"I will do sir. Thank you for speaking to me today."
"You're quite welcome. I try to be more involved in the Weyr than just drills and paperwork." D'wrayt replied.
"Which I think I need to get my head around," she said, pausing. "The hidework I meant," she added by way of clarification.
"You'll catch on quickly, I;m sure." he replied waving over the rider that was now within calling distance. Treadoryth had alerted the rider's dragon as a courtsey as he had finished his conversation with Teseada.
