Characters: S'ric, C'lor
Description: S'ric and C'lor spend the restday attempting to excercise C'lor's weak muscles.
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr
Date: month 2, day 7 of Turn 4

"Thanks for offering to help me, S'ric." the bronzerider replied as they started their second circuit around the weyrbowl. They were trying to make his muscles stronger than they were currently.

"I don't mind. Lementrith is enjoying the sun on her ledge."

"It's not like I can't do this. I've done it before, you know."

"I know. We could go once more around if you'd like."

"I don't think so. This is starting to make me sore." C'lor said groaning at the thought of a third time around. His legs were beginning to protest and they were only halfway around the weyrbowl.

"What about flying excercises?" the green weyrling asked wanting to be as helpful as possible.

"Nah, what about a mind excercise like playing chess?" C'lor suggested as he liked playing the game and he would get to sit down.

"Okay, but you'll have to teach me. I don't know much about the game."

"I think that I can do that rather easily. Let's head that way, then. It's not far from where we are now. Then maybe we can get a bite to eat afterwards." C'lor said with a grin. He knew that S'ric wouldn't turn down an offer of food.

"Sure. I'm always in the mood for food."

"Great. I'll even race you to the other side!"

"Okay let's go!" S'ric said as he took off in a sprint towards the direction of the dining cavern.

C'lor started off at a good pace, but slowed about halfway through. He wasn't near back to the shape he had been in during weyrlinghood. The threadscore had really taken a lot out of him besides part of his eyesight.
