Cherlyn sighed and smiled. She remembered who won Lueanth's flight and was so glad he had. She felt his arms around her bare shoulders, his body pressed up against hers in a way that she'd never been after a flight. They almost always got their things together and left silently, but he didn't. She didn't open her mouth just yet, to happy to ruin the moment with words.
"I hope Leauth is as pleased with her choice as we are." the bronzerider murmured softly.
"Me too." Cherlyn replied snuggling up against his warm body. They layed in silence for a few moments.
"What do we do now J'ren?" Cherlyn asked calmly.
"Where do we go from here?"
"I don't have to leave for a while yet. After that, well it's easy enough to go /between/." He told her.
"No J'ren." She turned to face him, looking into his amazing eyes. "What about us? /Between/ is great, but there's so much distance between us. And I'm not the most forward of people," she took a deep breath, "but I love you J'ren. I've never felt this about anyone, not even my parents. I never knew my mom, and my dad had always wanted a boy. I want to come home at night to your arms, and your smile and you. Thats what I mean J'ren." She looked deeper into his eyes.
"Take me with you?" The words were out before she could stop them but to late now. "take me to River Bluff."
J'ren tried to hide his suprise, she seemed sweet but he barly knew her. "What about Dolphin Cove? You want to transfer?"
"Maybe not right away, but promise me, if this works out, we won't stay apart. J'ren I know this is fast, but I've _never_ felt this way before, and I don't want to loose this ever." Cherlyn sighed, "I spent my entire life thinking my husband would be chosen for me, but when I came here I learned that I had a choice, a chance to pick my _own_ weyrmate. And I want him to be you."
"But if you think it's to quick," Cherlyn said. "I understand." The young woman had grown up immensly in the last few months, and was no longer the self concious holder girl who rode a green. She was a dragonrider, and capable of making her own choices.
She sat up in bed and reached for her tunic.
"Cherlyn, wait. I'm not saying your wrong." he took her arm gently. "I just want to make sure this isn't Lueanth talking as much as it is you."
"It's not." Cherlyn told him stoutly. "But I'm sure Lueanth is there too. She's tired of Dolphin Cove, as am I. I want to start over, with you." Cherlyn snuggled back into the welcoming covers.
"But I was a little hasty, I'll admit. We'll take it slow." A wild look slowly came into her eyes. With a sudden burst of strengh she push J'ren onto his back and kissed him passsionatly.
"But for now." she whispered huskily, her lips centimeters from his. "We have a flight to work off, and I don't know about you, but I'm dying to see if your as good in bed without Kenaranth's influence."
Cherlyn began to kiss him passionatly, so much had changed since her Impression. At that moment, mid kiss, she felt an welth of gratitude that her Lueanth had found her that day on the sands. Lueanth responded sleepily with a wave of adoration.
