Description: Tarley grabs R'enh after Chioneth's flight
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 13, day 2 of Turn 12
The cloud of lust that Chioneth's flight draped around Dragonsfall was
too heady to ignore. After a particularly challenging week with her
siblings, who felt more like her own children at this point, Tarley
was looking for a few minutes of bliss.
When the senior queen took to the skies, Tarley hurried to her weyr to
clean up and toss on a fresh sweater and pair of breeches. Combing out
her glossy red curls, she dabbed on her favorite perfume and then
jogged down to the flight room. Other men and women already waited
outside the door, looking to grab one of the riders who stumbled out
when Chioneth didn't pick their dragon.
There wasn't a particular person that Tarley was looking for, but when
a tall bronzerider came weaving out, she latched onto the front of his
tunic with her hands. "Come with me, handsome."
R'enh had the presence of mind, what little of it was left, to obey
the offered arms and pull her into the nearest unoccupied flight room.
They collided in a confusing blend of lips and hungry hands. Tarley
wasn't sure where her body ended and the bronzerider's began.
--
Sliding off the bronzerider, Tarley collapsed onto the bed beside him,
panting as she closed her eyes for a moment to savor the ebbing waves
of pleasure. It wasn't until she peeked open an eye again and glanced
sideways at him that she was able to really pay attention to just
_who_ she had grabbed. It was Ridge Wing's Wingleader, R'enh. _Her_
Wingleader. Embarrassment washed over her.
R'enh slowly slid back into consciousness and adjusted covers over
both of them to defray the cold. "Tarley?" His brow furled slowly, he
knew they'd been chasing but it was Chioneth not Monicath or that was
what he thought.
Tarley cursed inwardly as she felt her cheeks begin to heat. As a
redhead, she could never hide a blush. "Yes, sir. I, uh, was waiting
outside the flight room. I didn't realize you'd be the first person
out." She hoped that wasn't insulting. R'enh was hot and everything -
what young greenrider didn't fantasize about him? - but he was also
her _boss_.
"Oh!" he suddenly felt uncomfortable. If he'd... "did I force you
Tarley," he asked quietly. "If I did, I am very sorry. I was..."
The blush deepened to an impossible shade of red. "Oh, no, sir, _I_
grabbed _you_."
A slow crooked smile lit his eyes with an undeniable twinkle. "Oh? Did
you now..." He chuckled and rolled on his side to face her and truly
appreciate her rosy complexion. He leaned on one hand and swept a
bright copper strand from her eyes with the other. "I must thank you
for helping me in that situation," he said slightly more seriously.
It took everything within Tarley's power not to melt into a puddle of
goo when R'enh touched her hair like that. How did he make being
handsome and suave seem so effortless? "You're quite welcome," she
found herself saying honestly. As his wingrider, she'd never had his
full attention, the full power of those blue eyes on her before.
He still felt the intensity of the gold flight lust coursing through
him and allowed his free hand to caress Tarley’s lush frame. He smiled
into her luminous chocolate eyes. Then he leaned closer to kiss her
softly.
There was no hesitation as Tarley melded against him. His lips were
intoxicating, and she did nothing to withhold herself from him.
Assured of her willingness, R’enh unleashed his primal need and
covered her with his own body. Joining again in the dance of
lovemaking.
--
"So I guess I'll see you at drills tomorrow," Tarley said by way of
small talk as she buttoned her pants, pulled her shirt over her head,
and stamped into her boots. She found her hair tie in the floor and
began quickly braiding her curly red hair away from her face. She
fastened it behind her neck with her nimble healer fingers.
"Sure," he answered, noting how quickly she was getting dressed.
"Everything alright Tarley," he asked.
"Yes. It's fine. It's just..." she glanced at him. "You're my
_Wingleader_. I don't want things to be awkward at Wing practice."
Clearly she was nervous though at her age she should have had enough
experience of flight rooms... "It won't be," he started and stood
scooping up his own clothes to begin dressing. **At least not for me**
he thought as he pulled up his trousers. "If you feel awkward, we can
talk about it," he shrugged. "I'm always willing to talk." He pulled
his shirt over his head and grinned at her. "We really can make this
easy."
The greenrider's smile returned. "Good, then I'll see you at drills,
Wingleader."
