Kirra lugged the bag of things she had acumulated in the time she had
stayed in the candidate barracks up the stairs to Z'al's weyr. **_Our_
weyr.** she smiled as she corrected herself. It wasn't much but it was all hers. Z'al was almost done with running drills for today and would be
home soon, Kirra thought it no big deal if she got started early.

As she finished putting her clothes away in what had been a half empty dresser before she had started she heard the woosh of wings and a light thump of someone jumping off their dragon. **Z'al's home!** She smiled excitedly imagining all the times she will be welcoming him home in the future.

Z'al walked into his weyr and smiled. It was good to come home to a
smiling face. He watched as she walked out into the living area. "I see you have been making yourself at home." He opened his arms to her. She had made his life fuller. He felt like the luckiest man on all of Pern.

She went into his arms "I was so anxious to move in, I thought I would
get started early." She smiled at his loving gaze and let the need in her
eyes flare for just a moment but then looked down as she started unbuttoning his riding jacket, "I was just thinking it might make it go more quickly so we could have some _personal_ time later."

She pulled his jacket off his shoulders, letting her left hand slide
softly across and down his back as she walked away to hang up the jacket.
Kirra knew he was watching her so she swished her hips a little more, but not too much, as she walked. She loved teasing him, and now she could do it without wondering if anyone noticed.

He smiled as he watched her. "If I didn't know better I'd say you were a tease." He followed her and put his arms around her from behind. He gentley kissed her neck. He nibbled her ear a bit.

Kirra sighed with pleasure at his touch, "Mmm, observant of you," and pulling herself slowly away she went to where he kept the wine. "You must be thirsty after drills, let me get you a drink."

As she wondered how long he could resist her teasing, she brought two glasses over to him and handed him one, looking up at him with a look of _almost_ innocence, "I don't want you to colapse on me while you help me unpack," she said sweetly. Then with a sip of her wine and a twirl away she
wandered off, gazing around the weyr, as if she was looking it over.

"It will be nice to have a woman's touch here." He sat on his couch and stretched out. He sipped form his cup. He watched as she wandered the weyr. "So do you think there is any hope for our home?"

She turned to him and tilted her head with a confused look, "What do you mean? Do you mean, will it last?" She thought it a sobering question in a very happy moment, but she was curious, she definitly wanted their relationship to have a level of seriousness.

Kirra went and lifted his feet, plopped on the couch under them, and began to undo his boots. "Because I don't see why we wouldn't. We loveeachother, I understand the fact that when a green flies, well I may not be the woman in your arms that night, but I will always know that you love _me_ and not someone else. I understand, it might be strange at first but I'm determined to stick it out, to be open to what happens."

"My dearest, I meant does my weyr pass inspection. I plan never to let you go. If you are to impress then so be it. Nyinth and I will strive to win her first flight. If you do not you will always have a home right here with
us."

Kirra smiled at the person she could never love more than anyone else in the whole World. "Thank you my love, and yes it meets my few requirements. I was just giving you a hard time. I know you will always love me I see it inyour eyes." she set down his boots and started to massage his feet. "My most favorite thing about this weyr is that I will no longer have to bathe with all the other candidates, I can _finally_ have the luxury of bathing with you when ever I want, and not worry about some pesky weyrling barging in on us."

"Then perhaps I should scoop you up and take you in there." He smiled as he got to his feet quickly and scooped her up. She didn't have time to fight or stop him. He took the few quick steps to his bathing chamber. "Shall I strip you and drop you in or just drop you in?" He said with a wicked grin.

Kirra laughed as he held her over the warm water. Then she kissed him and nibbled his ear, "I'll let you decide."

"He smield as he dropped her into the pool and followed her in. He laughed a hearty laugh as he joined his weyrmate.
