Drumilla tossed last of her things to a bag and closed it. She didn't
have much, just few set of clothes and few personal items, like combs
and brushes. She had lost everything in River Bluff Weyr's destruction
and had been slow to replace them.

"You sure about this?" Taren asked, watching his little sister pack
and make ready to leave.

"Yes, I'm sure, we have had this discussion for dozen of times, no
need to repeat it. I want to go and be on my own, step out of your
shadow. Here, I'm just the Weyrhealer's little sister. There, I'm much
needed healer," Drumilla replied.

"But here you can learn from the best, me," Taren thumped his chest.

The way Drumilla rolled her eyes indicated that Taren had used that
argument way too many times. "I can still consult you and I can also
learn by doing it all myself. "Why don't you just admit it, you don't
want me to go because you'll miss me."

"Of course I'll miss you, little sister," Taren replied, getting
slightly misty eyed.

There was knock from the door and soon enough Tarine voice carried to
them "Your ride is here, auntie Dru!"

"Well, let him in," Taren asked.

Zh'no walked in and gave both a polite nod. "Sir, ma'am. I am here
to transport the Journeyman to her next post."

"Hello, Zh'no, take good care of my little sister," Taren greeted,
recognizing him from Falls where the bluerider worked with
dragonhealers.

"That's my intention, sir," Zh'no said, giving the younger healer a
confident smile. "Do you have any bags I could carry for you?"

"Yes, I do," Drumilla tossed him a bag. "Don't worry, it's just
clothes, nothing to break."

The bluerider caught the bag easily. "Just this?"

"Yes, I travel lightly," Drumilla replied.

"Then Peohth and I shall be waiting for you on the Plateau. Take as
much time as you need," he said, shouldering the bag and giving the
Weyrhealer another bow before taking his leave.

"I'll be joining you there shortly," Drumilla nodded, grateful for the
privacy. She had a feeling there was going to be tears.
