Lanniya

After leaving A'dryn, Lanniya knew one of the other people she had to
tell, and honestly, the most important out of all of them, was K'ale.
The other friend...well, she'd tell him as soon as she could. But K'ale
needed to know before he sent in any transfer requests. It didn't take
long to mount up on Anaeryth and blink /between/ to Dragonsfall.

Arriving, she let Imalyth know that she had arrived and would be
waiting for K'ale in his weyr when he was done with his drills and
other duties. She lit the brazier, found his most comfy chair and
settled into it.

K'ale got the message and couldn't wait for the drills to be over.
When they were he had Imalkyth let her know he was on his way. Moments
later he walked into his weyr to find it already nice and warm. "Hey,"
he smiled. "I didn't expect to see you until rest day."

She smiled from her seat, cupping a warm mug of klah in her hands. "I
made myself comfortable. I have a whole pot ready. I thought you'd
like it." She took a sip and looked up at him, wiggling her toes from
under a blanket she was cuddled under. "I've got some news."

"Oh?" He leaned down to give her a kiss and then toward the pot for his own mug.

"I hope you haven't sent in that transfer request yet." She watched
him, her eyes following him and enjoying the view of his rear as he
bent towards the klah pot. "Since Panitath laid a gold egg, Cyradis is
going to be sending me here after the hatching. Four golds is going to
be too much and Dragonsfall only has two.

"Really?" He grinned. "That's great! How do you feel about it?"

She answered his smile, but hers wasn't as wide as his own. "This will
be another move." She sighed. "I mean, I understand the necessity, I
really do. But...I'll be leaving my sister, my friends...having to
start all over..." She sighed and took a sip of her klah. "I've moved
around my entire life, K'ale. I just want to settle some place and
_stay_."

"Stay with me," he said softly and slipped his arm around her. "We can
visit your parents and your grandparents and even your friends
whenever you like. Besides, I think you'll like it here." He grinned
at her. "You'll like my friends too."

Before she could answer, Anaeryth chimed in that though she liked
Imalkyth very much, his ledge was simply too small for her to share
indefinitely. Lanniya chuckled and relayed the message, scooting over
to allow K'ale room to sit beside her. "I know. And I hope so." She
looked over at him, leaning just a bit. "But if they ask me to move
ever again, I'm going to dig in my heels. I'm so tired of it." She
snuggled close to him. "And Anaeryth is right. We _will_ need a bigger
weyr."

"I like the way that sounded," he grinned at her. "In the meantime,
Imalkyth can sleep on the ledge next to us. That weyr is empty right
now. Maybe we can talk to Yanley and arrange for one you like."

"I'm staying at Dolpin Cove at least until the Hatching. We've a bit
of time to find a good weyr here." She looked up at him. "I want to
spend as much time with Pierka and A'dryn as I can. I think Pierka's
still adjusting and honestly, A'dryn's feeling so lost. You'll have me
after, I promise." She smiled and kissed his chin.

"Well I was a weyrbrat here and know every inch of the place and all
the Weyrs that are big enough for the two of them. But we'll leave
that to Yanley. Like you said," he smiled. "We have plenty of time. I
want you to enjoy your friends and your family before you move. It's
enough to know you are coming."

"Good." She leaned against him and closed her eyes. "Do you think
we'll be okay being around each other all of the time? We've never had
more than just a few nights together all at once. " She smiled. "It'll
give me more chances to warm my feet under your rear, of course, but I
may just drive you crazy. " She poked his side.

"Well," he said. "We're people so that means that sometime we're going
to disagree. But I promise I'll always listen to you and talk to you.
But even more important. I will love you." He smiled at the poke. "I
also know where you're ticklish which is a wonderful revenge for cold
feet."

"Yeah but you tickling me always ends up with..." Her voice trailed
off as she tilted her head back to eye him. "So anytime I want to..."
she waggled her brows, "..then I just stick my toes to your butt?"

"Funny girl," he tickled her with a grin for just a moment.

"Hey!" She swatted at his hands. "Oh no you don't. You..." She poked
him in the chest. "Need to have a bath. No tickly, smoochy, naked time
until you bathe."

"Oh tickly, smoochy, naked time if I bathe? I'm going to be taking
baths several times a day," he grinned and jumped up shedding his
clothes on the floor. Grabbing a towel he walked out the door to head
to the bathing pools.

"I'll be waiting." She grinned and rose as he got near the door. She
tugged off her shirt and tossed it aside. "You might want to hurry."

He grinned and winked. "I'll be right back."
