Danrina

Danrina

Galrad was impatient. But he'd waited for this long enough to school
his patience at least so the people around him didn't see it every
moment. He could wait for the appropriate amount of time before
dragging his new wife out of the reception and back to his chambers.
Danrina had finally walked down the aisle to become his wife and soon
he'd claim her in truth.

He couldn't help the occasional look at her cleavage and think about
putting his face right here. His thoughts strayed to other portions of
her anatomy that he would reveal at the earliest possible moment.

For now he tried to watch the Lord and Lady dance the first dance and
then he could lead Danrina to the floor. In the meantime his knee
bounced up and down restlessly as the only sign of his agitation.

As the applause pattered at the Lord and Lady, he rose and bowed to
his wife. "Would you accompany me in a dance," he said to her bosom.

"Of course," she said politely. There was no choice in the matter now, she'd
said the words in front of the harper that had legally bound them as man and
wife. So no matter what, she was his, and it seemed he would expect her to
honor her vows. But he could at least look at her, not seem like he wanted
to just stare at her figure and not get to know the woman he had just sworn
himself to.

He led her to the floor sweeping her around him as he'd seen the Lord
do with his Lady. Danrina was quite a beauty and his appetite for her
barely whetted. He didn't even consider he was old enough to be her
father or that his youthful good looks had faded. In his own mind he
was still well built and handsome. Never mind the effects of drinking
on his completion or his breath. "You are quite lovely today," he
complemented.

"Thank you for the compliment," she managed after a moment, hoping it seemed
like she was flattered by his words, and not trying to escape the
unmistakable smell of ale and spirits. Maybe, perhaps it was just his
clothing, men seemed to toast one another effusively at these occasions and
it could be spillage and not him. Or at least she hoped for that much. "You
dance well."

"Thank you," he acknowledged, not even thinking to return the
compliment. His mind was elsewhere and trying to get them out of this
room and her into his bed as soon as possible. Thankfully her father
had already left and he saw another couple sneak out so after this
dance he would have no qualms guiding her out of the room.

As the dance proceeded he didn't feel the least bit of discomfort and
finally when it was over he simply grasped her hand and led her out of
the room. "Time to commence with our wedding night," he announced.

Danrina blinked, trying to wipe the surprised look from her face. She hadn't
expected him to be, to be so abrupt and forward about things. "Husband," she
tried to protest, "May I at least bid my farewells, before we go?"

"Unnecessary," he said and continued to lead her toward the stairs.
"You'll see them all tomorrow," he ground out. "You've arranged to
stay here after all." His hand gripped hers like a vice. "Oh they
might consider me compliant and I will be in order to gain favor with
Lord Bryvin." He didn't actually glare but he was what he would
consider firm with her. "But tonight you will do your duty. Where is
your room?"

"Th.. that way," she stammered. Her wrist hurt from his grip. Was that a
sign of things to come? Rumor had it that men got impatient about their
wedding night, and maybe that explained it. When she had asked among her
female friends, they had giggled and laughed, just telling her she would see
how it was and to relax and enjoy.

He turned the way she had pointed and soon they were in the correct
hallway and he opened the door. But this time he did the proper thing,
he did have practice after all and this was his wife not some
conquest, and he picked her up to carry her into the room. "Nice
room," he said in genuine appreciation. He couldn't deny that the Lord
and Lady must hold her in high regard too give her a suite like this.
That pleased him and ameliorated his former mindset.

He set her on her feet in the middle of the sitting room and walked to
the window. The festivities around the Hold were still in full swing
and he could see quite a bit from here. "You can go prepare," he said
waving a hand in the general direction of her bedroom.

Danrina did as she was bid. Maybe now they were alone, maybe, just maybe
she'd see the man her father had promised her. Finding the bridal nightgown
that had taken pride of place in her trousseau was the work of moments, the
sheer, silky looking garment had been laid out for her after she had dressed
for the ceremony. It's folds felt so smooth, she thought as she removed her
dress, and slipped into it, after a quick visit to the bathing room to
attend to necessities. "Galrad?" she called, using his name tentatively for
the first time as they were alone. "I, I'm ready."

**Good biddable girl** he thought as he walked into the bedroom. She'd
made him wait her sharding year but she'd gone through with it when
the time came just as her father had predicted. He'd already loosened
his shirt from his trousers and sat to pull off his boots. This wasn't
his first wedding nor his first virgin though he didn't necessarily
look forward to hurting the girl.

He looked at her there look a bit frightened and though perhaps it was
best to just get it over with. Then he could stay a few days just to
be sure he'd made a good effort to "plow the field" and then go home
to his comfortable existence without the bother of trying to maintain
her.

"Nice," he smiled as he rose and pulled off his shirt. Her tits were
nicely rounded and the dark nipples pert under the thin fabric and
just as he'd imagined at dinner. He could even see the shadow of her
dark patch. He stepped loser and reached out a hand to cup one of her
globes. "Very nice."

She tried not to flinch away, this was her husband after all. It felt
strange, not what she expected at all. But he was smiling, maybe this was
how men behaved after all?

He didn't miss her apprehension and his eyes narrowed. "Did anyone
explain your duty Danrina? Did they tell you what to expect on your
wedding night?" He'd be quite angry if no one had told the girl what
would happen. That was normally the mother's job yet Danrina's mother
wasn't here to do it.

"I know," she said very softly. "I'm here to please you."

"Good," he said and pulled her to him for a kiss. He liked the feel of
her full breasts crushed against his chest and lowered one hand to
fondle her derriere through the thin silk that left almost nothing to
the imagination. His own body responded and soon he was pressing hard
against his trousers. He pulled her lower half against him so she
could feel it too as he plunged his tongue into her mouth.

It felt strange, to suddenly be that close to a stranger. But no, this was
no longer a stranger, but her husband. As his lips met hers, she had no
choice but to open herself to him, if only to gain some respite for a
moment. Reflex led her to move her hips as she sought a more comfortable
position, not realizing that it may grant him better access.

That hip movement stimulated his already rising libido that and the
drinks he'd had were all it took for Galrad to discard what modicum of
control he might have thought about using with his new bride. He
pulled her down onto the bed and ripped her gown in half from the neck
to the hem. His hands and mouth mauled the fine globes of her breasts.
Then he took his rights without regard for her needs.

~~~
A few minutes later he'd slumped to the side and fallen sound asleep
with an arm possessively across her waist. Galrad began to snore in
her ear.
A question of 'was that it?' ran through Danrina's mind. Not what she had
expected at all. there had been no tenderness at all, just this, animal
like action that felt like it would leave bruising in some tender places,
not to mention a moment of pain as he had pushed his way in to her. Was this
to be the rest of her life?
