Description: Talwynn shows D'kere a nice swimming spot in warm territory.
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 9, day 11 of Turn 7
Beneath his heavier clothing that he commonly wore around Dragonsfall,
D'kere had on a pair of swimming trunks and as soon as he soothed this
Weyrling's fears about flying he would be on his way. He really did
not envy people who Impressed that were naturally afraid of heights.
Fortunately for him, heights had never been a problem.
"Just keep doing those exercises we talked about." D'kere assured the
young woman as he placed his hands on her shoulders and steered her
out of his office. She was the sort that would keep him there all day
if he let her.
Tossing her hair over her shoulder, the green Weyrling left, but it
was obvious she was put-out over not having more time to talk. The
fact of the matter was that if D'kere heard her say, "I have heart
palpatations just thinking about it" one more time he was going to
push her off a ledge himself. Or at least daydream about it.
}:Come on, I am ready for some warm sun.:{ Kenirath encouraged.
**I got rid of her as quickly as I could.** D'kere reasoned as he
turned and found a familiar green beside of Kenirath.
Talwynn was leaning against Riveth, who had found a spot by her
favorite bronze. She waved jauntily as he came into view. "How's your
day been?" she asked when he was in talking range.
D'kere just closed his eyes and shook his head, "Let's say I have been
waiting for this moment all day."
"I've been waiting for...a candlemark." She flashed him a quick grin
at that as she started clambering up her green.
"We can give you the visual and then we'll be warm soon,"
"And then we can commence with the dispensing of clothes?" D'kere
asked, returning her grin with one of his own as he climbed up
Kenirath's neckridge and settled into place.
When both dragons were aloft, she constructed the image of the little
inlet in her mind. It could have been any picturesque tropical
location, with bright sand and sun and beautiful water. There was a
distinctive formation of rocks that extended outwards into the water
on the right side which made for a strong visualization. Riveth passed
it to Kenirath and then went /between/.
The sun was still out and warming the sand and the air was warm as
they appeared high above. Riveth dived fast before braking hard and
landing with a slight thump, looking up to see if the bronze dragon
had noticed her stunt. Talwynn slid off of her green and freed her
from the straps, which she casually tossed on a rock on the sand.
"It's private enough here to swim in nothing."
"You won't hear me complaining." D'kere said as he slid off his mount
while Kenirath gave Riveth an appreciative bugle and told her how
lovely she had looked in the air. He had no doubt that Kenirath would
be chasing after Riveth the next time the green rose.
The Weyrlingmaster's Second shrugged out of his flight jacket, tugged
off his boots, and began peeling away the thicker clothing that he
wore around Dragonsfall.
Talwynn shook her head and stripped down to nothing before walking
over to the water and sticking her toes in. It was a little chilly,
but better than the waters at Dragonsfall. "At least the weather's
amazing."
Rather than wade in slowly, D'kere took off at a run, zooming past
Talwynn in a naked blur before launching himself head first into the
water. The clear blur water made him visible still as he swam beneath
the crystal depths. When he resurfaced it was with an unrepentant
grin, "I'm sorry. What were you saying?"
She laughed at him as she walked the rest of the way into the water,
shivering slightly. "Nothing important," she said, paddling over.
"You should see this place at night. Not as good for swimming, but still
stunning."
"We'll have to put that on our to-do list then." D'kere said as he
moved with the ebb of the water toward Talwynn. Any physical
limitations that she might have had all but disappeared in the water,
and like any red-blooded male, D'kere found himself admiring her
figure even through the blurred lines of the ocean.
This was as close as you could get to flying without a dragon, freedom
in a single space. The inlet was familiar to her even with her eyes
closed and she knew where the rocks weren't. Feeling like a showoff,
she did a handstand, sinking her fingers into the soft sand and
wiggling them while holding her legs up out of the water. But soon
enough her chest demanded air and she had to surface.
"Do you have a long to-do list?" she asked when she surfaced, shaking
her head to clear the water from her ears.
"Well, going swimming with a beautiful greenrider, _and_ seeing her
naked, have already been checked off of the list. So the list is
getting shorter." D'kere grinned rakishly, and then tilted his head to
the side, "The other, real to-do list mostly involves some Weyrling
lessons and activities I have to get together."
"Let me know if you need help with the latter. As to the former, are
you thinking of adding another item or two?" She tried to wiggle her
eyebrows suggestively, then made a grimace. "I think I'm bad at that."
D'kere tossed back his head and laughed, "I thought your waggling
eyebrows were fine. And to answer your question, yes, there were a few
other things on the Talwynn List." There was a gleam in his eyes as he
reached for her through the water.
She darted away from him, taking advantage of her improved ability to
maneuver to hover tauntingly a bit beyond his grasp. She could
understand now why greens enjoyed being chased. "Such as?"
"Oh, giving you a full body massage, kissing that silky skin behind
your knees...." D'kere's teeth flashed as he smiled, his form still
gliding through the water, following Talwynn.
"Sounds like a lot of pampering." And sounded pleasant enough to her,
so she quickly turned and swept back towards him, teasingly close.
"See? A win-win situation." D'kere said as he finally slid his hands
over Talwynn's hips and drew her to him in the water.
She leaned in to kiss his jaw, then his lips, still amazed and pleased
by his interest in her. "I could get to like this kind of planning."
"Me too." D'kere waggled his eyebrows as he pulled them closer to
shore where their feet could rest on the sandy bottom. He had all
kinds of things planned for Talwynn, and it all started with a kiss.
