"Hello, pretty. Do you come here often?" Sh'lua greeted and flashed the
greenrider a smile. It was rather ridiculous greeting and he knew it.
"Are you talking to me, or to Cotleth, Sh'lua?" P'rosa asked with a
rather amused smile, scratching his lifemate's emerald eyeridge
"Both," Sh'lua replied, not easily getting caught wordless.
"Well, then, on behalf of both of us, may I say that we come here every
time Cotleth feels the need to feed," the greenrider said in response to
his earlier question. "Where is that gorgeous blue of yours then?"
"Oh, yes, that's Galerith," Sh'lua replied.
"Which one?" P'rosa asked, shading his eyes against the sun as he looked
up a couple circling blues, looking as though they were still choosing
their intended meal.
"The one on left, ready to swoop down," Sh'lua pointed Galerith.
"My, he is a fine male specimen." The look the greenrider gave him let
him know that he thought he was rather like his lifemate in that regard.
"Of course he is," Sh'lua grinned rather cockily.
"And are you hungry, too?" P'rosa asked, eyes wide and innocent.
"That depends," Sh'lua moved little closer to the greenrider, resting
his hand over his.
"Hmmmm." He looked at the hand thoughtfully, a smile tugging at his
lips. "On what?"
"Are you speaking of food or other things?" He wiggled his eye brows
suggestively.
P'rosa smiled coyly. "I'm not sure what other things you might be
referring to, bluerider."
"Oh, little company for the night and that kind of things," Sh'lua
replied with care-free tone.
"Playing dragon chess, perhaps?" Sh'lua could do better, the greenrider
was sure.
"Or play one-holed one," Sh'lua suggested.
An eyebrow rose in surprise. "And how is _that_ played?"
"You mean you haven't heard of that expression?" Sh'lua was surprised.
He leaned closer and whispered the explanation to him.
P'rosa giggled with glee. "Yes, I know the game, but the name is new to
me."
"A day is not wasted when you learn something new," Sh'lua said.
"Perhaps I could teach you a think or two as well?" He had a few tricks
and turns of phrase he was sure could impress.
"I'm eager to learn," the bluerider's eyes sparkled.
P'rosa leaned in to murmur softly in his ear. "Well, then, tell your
blue to pick quickly. I'm famished."
"All right," **Did you hear, Galerith? Stop showing off for the greens
and eat. I have somewere else to be.**
